The Silent Cartographer Evolved, SPV3.2
“For a brick, he flew pretty good!”
Just a quick warning shot for those pesky snipers

Need some help
So I want to get into Halo: Custom Edition for PC because I am dying to play Halo but Microsoft has done everything in its power to make Xboxes a huge pain in the ass, and they won’t port it to PC. However, Halo: SPV3 looks like exactly what I need.
The problem is, I have no idea how to go about playing it.
I know that SPV3 is a mod for Halo: Custom Edition, but I don’t really know anything beyond that.
What is Halo: Custom Edition exactly?
Is Custom Edition a stand-alone thing or is it too a mod for Halo: Combat Evolved?
I’m told I need a CD key for Custom Edition. Is this a CD key for Combat Evolved or a thing unique to Custom Edition? Do I need to pay for it? Do I need to buy a CD copy of Combat Evolved for PC or is it just something you download without needing any sort of disk?
Ok look.
SPV3 is a great Halo mod.
But it’s also a bit bloated.

Tenzella feat. Mark Broom - SPV3 (2022)
The atmosphere of the final few maps, especially the one where you return to a Flood infested Pillar of Autumn almost felt like it was straight out of Dead Space. Really helped highlight how legitimately unsettling the Flood actually are. I had a lot of fun mowing the creepy fuckers down with shotgun, heavy machinegun, and a flamethrower.
The Flood are probably my favorite thing about Halo’s setting. Even when I hated on the franchise like an ignorant fool I thought the Flood were an awesome and terrifying antagonist. There’s something really scary about zombies that get smarter the more the infection spreads.
Just beat this
Unbelievable. Legitimately One of the most fun FPS campaigns I’ve had in the past few years. The creators of this mod have every right to be incredibly proud. I always loved Halo: CE’s campaign, but this improves upon every aspect of it in almost every way.
