I already had 3/6 of the 6 dresses we got this year for the springtime event soooo I might have splurged a little today to make sure each mc got their own dress~
As we know we're not supposed to have favorites, butttttt I do have some thoughts on the dresses.
XAVIER'S DRESS 6/10
Accessories: I'm not entirely a fan of the hair piece, any one on tiktok knows what it looks like. I know they were going for a lace look, but they missed the mark a little with the shape. The jewelry, however is very nice.
Shoes: practical but cute blocky heels, perfect for a walk in the garden~
Dress: is very cute, very princess (on theme for the starry prince), very delicate, conservative, and feminine, but I think my only gripe with it is that it's white. It's more of an off-white, but still white. I know that's Xavier's whole shtick, but as someone who's prone to unintentionally ruining white, I avoid it like the plague!
(I wasn't even safe on my wedding day, mother nature decided to come on my special day🙃)
ZAYNE'S DRESS: 7/10
Accessories: simple, a little understated, but still works into it without taking away from the dress.
Shoes: arguably my favorite because of the little peep toe moment~
Dress: I love the whole concept of spring melting away winter that's going on with this dress. The boning on the bodice, the soft sleeves, and the color of this dress are just so nice and makes my brain happy.
RAFAYEL'S DRESS: 7.5/10
Accessories: they're okay. 😅 personally, I'm not a massive fan of pearls (which is part of Rafayels thing, I know), and i think it was overall done well for this dress, but it's a little lackluster. I think it's the pink choker that's throwing me off.
Shoes: The perfect amount of drama to go with the dress, however (and I know this is a hot take), I'm not a fan of the tulle leg warmers. . . . They're pretty, but i feel like they would get annoying if they slip down all the time
Dress: It's a moment, I love the high low, the gentle off the shoulder, and the sparkly details. I'm even a fan of the waist and roushing. However, i think I would've changed the neckline.
SYLUS'S DRESS: 9/10
Accessories: i like the asymmetrical jewelry, the choker is a nice touch, I'm just not a fan of the headband. It's me and my dislike of pearls, but I think a sparkly one or a simpler one would've matched better.
Shoes: OGGGHHHHH, I WANT these so bad! I love the little T stripe down the front. Very refined & elegant.
Dress: This dress is my favorite of the bunch, and I WOULD wear this one. Everything from the sleeves, the length of the skirt, the cut - everything about this dress makes me want it.
CALEB'S DRESS: 5.5/10
Accessories: a little too simple & and boring, and one i would argue needs pearls or just something a little more eye-catching. It's almost too plain
Shoes: I have a love hate relationship. They're giving 2 vibes:
- Little girl's Sunday school vibes (if you know you KNOW what I'm talking about)
- Square queen. I'm not a fan of square toe shoes, you RRALLY have to have the right shaped foot for it, so its okay. . . But so not my favorite.
Dress: i KNOW this dress has gotten a lot of hate, and I knows its the way I designed my mc for Caleb, but I don't think its that bad. Yellow for youthfulness, the empire waistline is fine, the push-up is amusing (especially since its canon) and I kinda like the strappy sleeve moment.
Hot take i think if they would have done peachy tones instead with yellow flowers this dress would've gotten more love.
The dresses are beautiful regardless, all perfect for spring/summer time and I'm so glad my MCs all get their own dresses to wear. I'm lowkey grinding to save up so they all have at least 5 individual outfits.....
I'm crazy I know. Don't judge, lol. Infold has put a lot of love & care into this, and I appreciate every aspect of it while I can.
GENERAL DRESS: 9.5/10.
Accessories: cute & chic & adds just the right amount of sparkle.
Shoes: not my favorite, tbh. I like mary Jane's, but I have mixed feelings on these. It's also just not my style of shoe and for me the only thing preventing it from being 10/10.
Dress: to die for! It's so sweet but romantic, and if we had the sixth love interest, it would make a perfect for!
Can't wait to see number 6 and make a new mc!!
