Dzień jak świeże truskawki latem
A spring witch collecting flowers from her garden🌷
I've been going through the whole "it's hard to create when the world is burning around you" problem for a couple weeks, now. It's just real hard to focus on the Good that I want to create when there's so much Nasty going around. It's real hard to focus on your own self-care in these times, and for me, drawing, writing and just generally making art is part of those tools. But that just means it's all the more important to try and protect and keep fostering. I have to remember the stuff I've learned about art, expression and creativity, and its use as your individual self's way of processing your own emotions. It reminded me of one of my favorite tools I like to use, I kind of took this from the book "The Artist's Way" but it's basically: your creative pool, your font, is Important. The stuff you consume. I'm not telling anyone to change their media preferences, I'm just telling you to go watch, listen, read, play something that's Different. I think in the book they call it an Artist's Date, but I've been using it to try and at least keep the creativity going, and it's working. What I did was go and watch some Mamoru Hosoda movies I haven't gotten around to, yet. Your Name made me UGLY CRY but oh wow. I also favorited a 24/7 Spongebob Channel and just randomly clicked on it whenever I was just sitting there, stewing and feeling sorry for myself. I also went out of my way and re-modded Skyrim into a semi-cozy game hahahahaha. Stuff like that worked for me, but you gotta find out what kind of stuff speaks to you, gets your Creative Self or whatever's attention. It helped remind me what was so important in this world, from my own perspective. Myself. The people I love. The things that give me the excitement whenever I wake up in the morning and wander to my computer. The Potential of What Could Be.

Here’s a list of Witchy Spring Activities to do this season, my loves! from my Grimoire to yours 💁🏼♀️🌷🌼🍓🍀🧹🫧🌱✨
Joining on the ask game! What's your answer for #13?
13) How does your craft feel in the spring vs in the darker months?
So much more alive! I try to live with the flow of the seasons; embracing dormancy and hibernation in the Long, Cold, Dark. I do very little in winter, as little as possible, including witchcraft. This is a recent lesson I finally learned from nature, and it's made a real difference to my wellbeing. Following the Wheel of the Year has helped my craft as well as my health.
Come spring, I am ready to exist once more. Waking with the earth around me, full of life again. A time for planting, growing, enriching.

A little different to usual, but I just feel like Spring would be a little cheeky, y'know?
