Spring Day is so beautiful but tragic. π I saw somewhere online that if a Hanahaki patient survives the surgery to remove it, they not only remove the infection, but also the feelings for that person. Did you consider that spin on the ending, where the reader survived but lost the love for Peter with it and maybe Peter develops Hanahaki because the reader could never return the love he grew into? Sorry to get angsty and pry. Just thought of this and cried a bit more. Love your work!!!ππ

actually, thereβs another reason why itβs titled Spring Day! iβve mentioned it before on an authorβs note in part 2. if you know the song Spring Day by BTS, you can actually make a connection between the story and the song! my friend @clara-licht made a reblog post about the connections. i suggest you read it Ray coz it brings the story into a new light and the theories are just so amazing!
