I need a fucking road trip

With BOFB fans

I need to get a bunch of us together, wear themed outfits, pile into a car, and drive all around the country.

Not even just a road trip

A rail trip as well

A boat trip, even

Follow their footsteps

Go where Easy Company went

Essentially do a reenactment but modern and no fighting

Visit other places too

The Normandy American Cemetery

The National WWII Museum

A bunch of other places too

I just want to travel

And I want to do it with others in the HBO war and WWII movies/shows in general fandom

I want to make references and quote the shows and movies and call each other nicknames and form our own little family of WWII nerds

I want to read The Pacific on a boat and Band of Brothers on a train and have Saving Private Ryan playing on those little screens that some cars and buses have

Make it a tour bus

We go around the countr(y/ies) on a tour bus and learn about the history and see the places and items and yes

I want to do this when I’m an adult but I’m poor and college is expensive and takes a lot of time
