like way to try and wrap all those arcs up in a nice little package so they can intro this frank cliffhanger in the finale????

ugggggh. no one cares about frank? literally no one cares about frank, and so what if he did one decent thing. that's great! congratulations! he's still really fucking terrible. and still, no one cares.

and the way they dealt with the karen/lip/mandy thing was messy and gross from the beginning. i could understand character motivation, but we've gone way beyond that. i understand but i don't care. what they're doing to Karen is absolutely despicable. they brought her back for this? they still didn't give her a voice in the story. she loves lip. things we knew. lip still loves her. things we already knew. but before they could even delve into this and how complex it is she's RUN OVER, IN A COMA, AND THEN WOKEN UP WITH BRAIN DAMAGE?

and then people in her life who don't really know her or simply refuse to acknowledge what she would have wanted decide to ship her to fucking Arizona with a husband she's been separated from and HATES with a baby she NEVER WANTED. that's not helpful and that's not solving anything. i don't fucking understand the fucking point of this. it's the worst.

and mandy has always been jealous and ridiculously territorial and i understand why she would run mandy over. the way she's reacted after makes sense but is also ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. she was fucking rude about LIP CARING ABOUT HIS BEST FRIEND who has sustained BRAIN DAMAGE over something SHE DID??? are you serious? the disrespect made me want to rage. as though she's owed something/love because she did his laundry and applied to college for him without being asked. like, yes,  she deserved to be treated better. 100% lip was a shitty boyfriend to her, but i understand why she stayed with him and had hope. she didn't deserve any of his assholery. but we're BEYOND THAT NOW. we're dealing with something greater and i'm fucking done.

and idk what this means for lip but i'm sure it means something BECAUSE EVERYTHING TO  SERVICE A MALE CHARACTER
