here are some fun facts

it's an alien from another planet called zoogle

it's a pure coincidence that it looks like mushroom. that's just how it's Shaped™

it is fully grown (in its 30s), so it will not grow into a hyphal knot/mushroom form over time

it's an omnivore and its favorite food is crickets but will accept any food of any kind as long as it's edible

its species communicates mostly by biting/nibbling which is fine until it's not
