I don't trust standard poodles because they have CLEARLY brainwashed their owners. Nothing poodle people say about poodles makes the slightest bit of sense. Poodles are the same as doodles which are the same as labs which are the same as ... dobes? They are aloof and friendly and biddale and independent and bouncy and stoic. They're perfect for service dog work and obedience and, uh, bitework. And the coat maintenance isn't that bad, really. It's sooo calming. Actually, if you shave them down once a month you don't need to groom them at all. Because shaving down a large dog isn't grooming! Or at least that's what your poodle wants you to think.

My parents' dog, Borgia, futzin LOATHES me, but she can't do anything without keeping me squarely in her sights. Here she is staring me down while we eat dinner.
