so here’s what I’ve been working on over the past week or so.
my goal was to “finish” some kinda game, because I always start a million projects and never actually follow though. well, it kinda almost happened here! the game is called Frog Sword, and I think I actually almost have a pretty solid gameplay/feel demo. feature wise, it’s super basic, and I took the “easy way out” on almost every front. but, there’s a lot of wiggle room for improvements!!
I’m going to try and expand this out into a more real game. more to come! shoutout to @triangular-reasoning for this very handsome frog.
I have a working and probably overly complex dialog engine!
oh yeah I've been working on some combat type diddlies today. you can do combos of light and heavy attacks and junk.
yay for actual light sources other than the player.
