and sieglinde’s hella upset bc obviously why wouldn’t she be

the crazy old lady goes into this flashback about how she used to be a scientist working on a similar project making a poisonous gas, but something went wrong, hence how she ended up looking so ratchet. a bunch of other scientists died too, including the head of the project.

but *GASP* the head of the project had impregnated the crazy woman!!! and guess who the baby was?!?! lil miss sieglinde ofc.

and sieglinde had gotten her daddy's magnificent brains! so obvs, what was the old lady to do other than just go ahead and make an agreement with the government to keep her child from society for her entire childhood so that she can produce a chemical weapon with the capability to kill absolute masses of people.

so sieglinde’s mother goes off on this rant about how “oh and everything has gone absolutely perfect, yes, yes! we have our gas, and it only took ten years! we only had to agree with the government to hide you away and make fake werewolves and create a whole village of women and make it so you can never walk again!!!! yahoo yippee time for a fiesta!!!”

at which point ciel is just like, “k, fuck you lady” and he fires his gun, and says “children are not their parents tools!”

and then i’m kind of forgetting completely how this part went, so i might’ve missed something between ciel firing his gun and this…

but so, ciel starts to run off with sieglinde, and ciel orders sebastian to “take care” of everyone who’s in the basement (the wolves and the old lady, etc.) seb does his epic “yes my lord” shit with his eyes and stuff and starts doing his thing, but we don’t get to see it really, not yet anyways. 

so really the only one left to run after ciel and sieglinde is sieglinde’s butler, wolfrum (i might be spelling that wrong.) on the way chasing after ciel and sieglinde, he runs into one of the village women and they start talking. 

there isn’t that much to the conversation except the end, where the woman reminds wolfrum that the rules are if anything goes wrong with the project, it’s his duty as sieglinde’s butler to kill her.

and obviously, something is going wrong with the project.

then it cuts to the servants who are chilling outside the village, waiting for a signal or something. i’m not 100% clear on what was going on here, but they end up getting that signal. i’m assuming they’ll be fighting the next chapter or doing something, but again, we don’t get to see it now.

then finally, it cuts to ciel and sieglinde, and agh this part of the chapter killed me.

ciel pretty much says to sieglinde, “alright, this is where you decide. you can stay here, or you can come to the outside world with me. either way, people will use you blah blah blah.”

but then ciel pulls out his gun…. and points it at sieglinde’s head.

"or, you could just end it right here."
