Dear the universe’s gift to me, my best friend,

      Five years and going. FIVE YEARS HOLY COW, WHERE DID THE TIME GO?! It’s like I met you yesterday and we were the new kids around. But of course, I approached you first because I thought ‘heck, she seems like a fun person’, and you were. You still are. I feel that we’ve grown a lot since then, we’ve bounced from one thing to another, but we never left each other behind. We just kept in touch no matter how busy our training schedules kept us away. We always seemed to come back and pick up where we left off. But now, I’m keeping you right here, right by me, because I can’t do without my best friend. How the heck am I supposed to survive around people?!? Yet, you never gave up on me no matter how closed off I can be at these times. And for the times I’ve been completely stubborn and becoming a butt, you had always come through when I feel like I should come through for you, too. There have been times when I thought, I totally could’ve been a better friend and I think it’s normal to have those moments, but then I realized all you can do to help is listen and be there for a friend when she needs it most. And I’m here for you, beb! Even if I’m totally induced of feels and get all loco, I’m listening. My job is to take you away and bring a lot of positivity to you; to take the burden off your shoulders when you’re stressed.    We’re still young, wild, and free, but you know what?! We’re still gonna mess up and when we do, we’ll get right back up again. I feel this as of late. But that’s life and I can honestly tell you that whatever situation we end up in, I’ll be there to pull you out of and likewise pulling me out of my own rabbit hole. Which reminds me that one time, and I cannot thank you enough for that. Gosh, these past five years have been a long one, but it just feels like it’s gone by. We were so ambitious and naive and thinking about it now, we’ve grown as people...and gotten possibly even crazier. We are the true meaning of friendship. If there is a word closer than friendship then it would be that. Usually it takes a long time to find lifelong friends, but I’ve found it in you and I believe there’s another fifty years to us and hella lot of adult problems and adventures, because what would I do without my partner in crime, best friend, and dumb to my dumber? You are my other half. My best friend half. I love you for always being you and for always sticking around this insane person. But we’re both insane together, so the world is not ready for us. And we’re taking over.
