Regarding the last episode of wonder egg priority and someone who has experienced a very similar situation to Ai, I want to point out my ideas of the end of this weeks episode, analyzing it based off what I did in the past regarding these type of situations.
Will contain spoilers so if you are reading this but haven't watched yet, that's at own risk.
So in the end scene we see Ai run towards Mr Sawaki, she ends up blushing and smiling, announcing to him to go back to school. Although a lot fear that this will end up with the route of "What if Ai actually likes the teacher and it becomes a thing." Now I want to clarify that it could be true as we don't know what the next episodes will bring, but I think this will not happen.
We know Koito had connections to Mr Sawaki that so far are unclear to what the true story is behind her death. If we go through with what Rika said that Mr Sawaki never cared about Koito, but used her to get closer to Ai, I feel that could make a lot of sense. But that's why I think I know exactly what Ai is going to do. Back when I was in highschool around 14 I also had my first friend die to suicide and I dropped out. I used a similar tactic. My guess is that Ai is going to try to get Mr Sawaki's interest on purpose, setting herself up in order to find information. I think partially because school is the place where it happened and also since if she can retrace the past that way, she might feel it brings her closer to answers.
I don't think there is any love or things involved, besides the thrill and fear of going through with something like this. Especially as it's shown Ai is visibly uncomfortable regarding Mr Sawaki's presence at her home.
Although it's my 2 cents on the situation as someone that recognizes a past pattern fron back when I was a shut-in during highschool surrounded with a suicide of a friend, I feel excited to see what comes up next.

“Revenge of the Love Failure is complete...” -- Melon, Chapter 188. Man, this arc has just been one crazy roller-coaster, and now that its reaching its conclusion, I’m a little sad to depart from it, as it introduced one of the characters that made me invested in this series in the first place. Hell, just knowing that Beastars is ending is making me a little depressed, as I wish I discovered it a year or so earlier. XD It almost reminds me of when I got invested in Game of Thrones, where I binge-watched it just as Season 6 first started airing (and when the writing for the show started deteriorating XD). No, Melon has not died (yet?), and I’m excited for the next chapter. I’m curious about whether Melon will get a chance to see his father before Legoshi kills him (if he does kill him, anyway), and seeing Melon’s father was a neat twist. It looks like Melon’s father will be an antagonist of some sort, considering his lack of a presence in Melon’s childhood helped contribute to Melon’s descent into villainy. Also, his last words (”Like any normal guy, I just left, right?”) gives me a bigot sort of vibe... Does Melon’s father look down on carnivores? Does he view them as heartless monsters only hungry for meat or something? We’ll just have to wait until August 19 to find out more about him, and see whether or not Legoshi does decide to kill Melon, right? XD If Melon does end up seeing his father, though... I doubt it’s gonna be a pleasant meeting, considering that the guy just up and abandoned Melon when he needed him most. WHELP. Time to wait for the 19th to find out how this all ends!
