The 2024 SPN Reverse Bang Bang is officially open for registration!

We're looking for artists, writers and betas to participate in this year's SPN Bang Bang, a smut mini-bang. All pairings and groupings from the Supernatural universe are welcome provided they comply with the restrictions (no incest, no explicit underage content).

This year will be a reverse bang. Artists can submit up to three works for separate collaboration during the course of the bang.

The SPNRBB is Supernatural big bang opened to all SPN fandom ships and participants from the ages of 16+. Stories and art for this bang will be Regency themed, meaning all works created will be set in early nineteenth century Great Britain/Ireland (1811-1820). The same era where stories such as those by Jane Austen (Pride & Prejudice, Emma etc.) were set and shows such as Netflix's Bridgerton. Think grand balls, brooding heroes, advantageous marriages and mysterious strangers—the regency is brimming with stories to be told!

The votes are in and it looks like the 2024 Bang Bang will be a reverse bang. We will be opening up registration for the bang on May 1, 2024.

WHAT IS REGENCY?

The Regency period of Great Britain and Ireland spanned several years in the early nineteenth century. King George III was unwell and unfit to rule, so his son, Prince George, became the prince regent from 1811 until his father’s death in 1820.

If you’re considering signing up for this bang you’re probably already familiar with the most famous portrayals of the era—Jane Austen’s novels (Pride & Prejudice, Emma, Mansfield Park etc) and perhaps more modern romance authors such as Georgette Heyer. Or maybe, you binge-watched (like plenty of us) Netflix’s Bridgerton and fell in love with their regency-esque world!

Think grand balls, brooding heroes, advantageous marriages and mysterious strangers—the regency is brimming with stories to be told!
