Great! I’m here with my best friend just soaking up all the energy. Even though there are hundreds of people here, I feel much more comfortable than I anticipated. Pittsburgh is a very masked-up city, even outdoors walking down the street, which does wonders for the pandemic anxiety. Indoors, there’s less going on here than I’m used to at the Creation cons, which is a neutral statement; fewer con activities just means more time for seeing the city. I’m not nearly as exhausted now at the end of the day like I usually am on a con Saturday, and we’ve gotten to wander downtown and order food and take photos and relax in the hotel room. It feels very much like an actual vacation and I’m enjoying it.
