Every once a while, Emmanuel jolted awake in the middle of night. It wasn't any apparent noises that startled him. it was a alien feeling, an conscious sensation, something close to being emotion--Someone else's emotion. 

Whatever it was, something about it made his heart ache for no apparent reason. And somewhere deep down in his heart, he desperately called out to the strange and foreign sensation. 

He thought it must be Daphne at first, for the emotion was similar to a lover's longing. But Daphne was sleeping safely beside him, she radiated of content and peace. There was nothing for her to long, she was already here with him. What Emmanuel sensed from her was something drastically different to the aching longing he sensed.  

So every once a while, Emmanuel stared at the ceiling, slightly frowning. He tried to tune his senses to the strange emotion. But he heard nothing beside Daphne's rhythmic breathing. So Emmanuel stayed awake till the night turn to dawn, listening to the absolute silence. 

Emmanuel never told his wife about the strange feeling he's sensing, till he started to hear the feeling again during day time, except that this time the feeling was in the form of a voice.  

"Ca...miss you...I...come back..." 

 He was drinking his morning coffee, reading newspaper when it happened, and he almost spilled some coffee on his pants. The sentence was broken and didn't make much sense to him. The voice, on the other hand, was unfamiliar but beautiful, and part of me took a liking in the sound of it. 

When he told Daphne about it--he left out the "lover's aching longing" part though, his wife was startled by his new ability of "hearing feelings", but she advices him to listen for the voice, for the feeling. "God has a reason for everything in our lives," she said to him. "whoever that voice was, it could be someone you knew, Emmanuel. It might be a key to your past. Use it. "  

She suggested him to look for the voice, and tried to remember to whom it belonged to. 

That very night he yelped when he was jolted awake by the strange sensation, he gulped for airs like he was suffocating only a moment ago. He touched his face and was relieved to realize he wasn't drowning in cold black water. He could no longer hear the voice, but the words still resonated in his mind, the desperation in the voice was still fresh.

"Come back to me!". The voice cried out, clear and loud. 

Daphne didn't understand it, neither did he. "I found you near the river." She said to him, trying to helpful, "maybe you are close to the truth of your past?" 

So Emmanuel kept waking up to the aching longing in the middle of the nights, and broken sentences during day time. He listened for the emotion from everybody he ever encountered: people who seek out help from him, acquaintances of Daphne, even pedestrians. He looked for the voice, the emotion, but his search was fruitless. 

Emmanuel almost gave up searching till I went home one day, to his wife being abducted at her own home and a man in his 30s killing the abductor. 

Emmanuel was too busy to check if Daphne was injured to pay attention to the strange man. When he was sure Daphne he turned to address the man, and the moment they lock eyes, Emmanuel felt the emotion radiating off him, the aching longing he has been sensing for months. 

Send me Song titles or Lyrics that remind you of special situations or emotions. (If someone betrays you and you listen to a song and you can totally feel that situation/emotion in it, you know?) [Idc about the genre just the lyrics/melody has to fit the situation!]

Hey guys! :)

I am a bit unmotivated to pay much attention to this blog atm buuuut I don't want to let it die. I just need a little time out of it and yeah. So yeah it would be awesome if someone could blogsit for me for the next time. You can just fill my queue or make blog rates and ask games I don't really care. :)
