Episode 5.03 In The Beginning

There's a mishap.

An inconsistency I never realized.

When Dean wakes up in 1973 and is in the diner with past!John, this guy comes up to him and says "Well say hello to your old man for me." 

It's those small details you hardly notice. Like Dean saying he's never been to the grand canyon (Episode 2.09 Croatoan) and then Sam talking about when John took them there when they were little (Episode 8.21 The Great Escapist). 

I actually like these small little things, these little uh-ohs in the show. They're like mess-ups in a movie where you can tell there was a retake on the scene. I mean of course Supernatural has those too. But those mistakes are easy to find so I don't really care much for them.
