#split sonas

These are two of my split sonas Astral Waybright, and Asher Obscurus :)

This is based on a scenario I ran through with them where Astral was avoiding Asher because they were worried they upset him- :P

This takes place after Astral went on trial and was allowed to go free, they were concerned that Asher was being kind/gentle just out of pity from the situation and didn't want him to feel like he had to "pretend" to like them...

Asher on the other hand was trying to figure why the fuck Waybright was avoiding him?! He yelled at old people (the grand council) for them for crying out loud.

I picture that Leila helped set this conversation up by hanging with Astral and then ducking away when Asher came over, Astral just turns to say something to Leila and is surprised

"What do you think of this col- oh!"

(I really don't have a ton to say on this one- sorry! It's one of my lesser ran scenarios-)

I found a meme image on Pinterest while looking for inspiration and almost immediately came up with this lol-

These are, Ethos Eternius (overthinks), Leaf Forest (Doesn't think), and Aquarion Song (Concerned for both of them) <3

After an exhausting few days, Astral fell asleep while leaning against Aquarion (not that Aquarion minds-)

Today I've got the whole gang split into groups of two, these are drawings of them in different outfits, meant to be slightly fancier than usual for most of them :P

These are drawn from a scenario I've ran in my mindspace, hence the somewhat gloomy expressions- (might yap about it sometime when I have energy lol-)

Today we've got more split sona duo doodles :D

Today's pairings are a little more varied (not all containing Asher lol-)

First up we've got Aquarion and Leaf, then younger Astral and his friend Winnowna (who, for clarification, is not a split sona, just a oc), and then lastly, Astral and Aquarion <3

I don't have quite as much to say about these dynamics as I did for Asher's- I have actually hardly thought about Aquarion and Leaf’s dynamic (sorry to those goobers lol-)

Aquarion, since I don't know if I explained him before, represents my desire to be loved, how I will do anything just to feel like a mean something to others, push myself to the breaking point, hiding everything behind a willing, cheerful smile. He also inherits my tendency to freeze in my panic, being represented by his ability to turn to stone, he can do this at will, but often loses control of this ability when he's scared. Aquarion is one of the strongest of the splits, often using himself as a shield to protect the others (similar to Asher, who is the other strongest)

Astral, when he first joined the group, was desperate, while they strived never to show that, he needed his magic back under his control, he needed help, not just anyone's help though, someone with magic, someone who could break the binding spell and free them, he quickly latched onto Leila, the white streak in her hair being the telltale sign of someone with magic

Aquarion could see this desperation as well though, he desperately wanted to help, for Astral to like him, he began to follow Astral, trying to offer help at every turn, but all this resulted in was Astral growing suspicious, no one had ever offered to help them before, everyone turned a blind eye to their struggles, Astral distrusted Aquarion, assuming that he wanted something, no one could be that nice to him for free...

But Aquarion was genuine, it took some time for Astral to realize and accept this, but when they did, the two finally became friends, and while Aquarion couldn't really assist Astral with their issue, he was there as a supportive figure, which was a nice help when Leila stopped speaking to Astral, having seen a flash of memory from Astral when trying to break the binding.
