He learned ninjitsu AS A RAT by copying his Master Yoshi's movements and was able to retain that knowledge in his tiny rat brain until he was mutated (after however much time living on the streets?? When he might’ve had ample opportunity to forget?)
Then, he utilized it to become Battle Nexus Champion and also taught the turtles about it + the spiritual aspect of ninjitsu, which means Yoshi was actively talking about it and baby rat Splinter COULD UNDERSTAND HIM AND TOOK NOTES.
