I really would like ask more of the layout of the aqua park of Splashfic. I know you posted it somewhere but I can't find it.😭
My questions are; if Mike was attacked (in theory, it's possible) would the other guys notice it?
And is Jay free to roam the park or is he confined to a certain area?
The layout of the park is mostly a conceptual sketch to give the idea of the underground facilities of the park, I wouldn't take it literal. Leather and Ghost's tanks were quite uncommunicated with Mike's at first, but there are conducts that, if broken, can lead to it. Also, in the "hypothetical" case **wink wink** of flooding the underground, they (specially Ghost) could move freely and possibly interact more with Mike.
I personally wouldn't attack a six meters long shark, but in said case, Jay probably would be the first noticing, as he usually wanders through the vents and conducts of the facilities. Leather and Ghost would know through him or by the few they can heard from their tanks.
As long his skin is wet, Jay can breath and move out water; besides, the staff is already used to him, so you'll normally find him in the underground facilities and knows it's labyrinthine desing like the suckers of his tentacles. He doesn't stays in the same place for long and since he meet MC he may visit the other slashers during the night; he would avoid Mike's tank and the park surface at first though.
