Ian and Mickey are broken up and Ian is trying to get back together with Mickey but Mickey kind of distant. Mickey lives in the apartment above/in the Alibi and Yevgeny stays with him sometimes. I remember that Ian would come to his door a lot to talk to him, but Mickey wouldn’t let him in. But then one night something happens with Terry, I think he tried to break in? And then Ian’s there for the aftermath and Mickey lets him come in and Ian comforts him and eventually they work things out and get back together.

We’re so sorry! While this scenario is so familiar, none of us could place it. We also did the same thing as you — combed Ao3 for anything relevant but nothing turned up. It’s either been deleted or might live on Tumblr. Maybe it's an untagged story?

I always get super emotional whenever I think about how Ian probably thought he was never going to see Mickey again 😭😭

Nursey was curled up on the floor, shaking, tears running down his face. “Oh my god, please stop crying,” Dex said. “Are you really crying? It wasn’t that funny.” If there was one thing he could depend on from Nursey, it was an overly dramatic reaction. His claims of “chill” were all giant lies.

“Your... face...” Nursey said, still crying with laughter. “Holy shit, you should’ve seen your face.”

“I can’t see my own face, dumbass,” Dex said, crossing his arms over his chest. “And it can’t have been that funny.”
