Skye's At-Least-Once-a-Month Artpiece Challenge of 2026 - March

For March, I drew a before/after of my Spiral Knights character, both because I got into the game recently and also to represent my change of identity. It was a very hard piece to draw - I've never done details of this level before - and I am very much exhausted after completing it, but I am glad I drew it as it allowed me to improve my drawing skills a lot.

For challenges, I set myself these ones:

Another attempt at detailed backgrounds, I tried to mimic the character preview screen as best I could. Copypasting the patterns was a pain, but it was worth it, even if I had to improvise on them because I couldn't tell what all of them were on the preview screen.

More perspective, it's still not something I'm all that good at. I tried making it look like Skye's leg is raised behind her but I don't know if it looks good.

Character porportions, I tried scaling up the SK character proportions to my usual humanoid ones. In my initial drafts, it looked a bit too weird, so I had to meet in the middle and do a bit of a mix between both proportions.

Character details, as I said before I've never done art of characters with so many details on them, which is part of why this piece ended up draining me so much.

Despite the struggles, I still enjoyed drawing this piece. I want to say it'll be a while before I draw something this complex again, but my April piece has as a challenge to draw a very, very detailed background, so I guess we'll see how that goes.

                                   Xrounder (Xiria Rounder) 

Oh boy its finally done! Okay recently,I've been playing Spiral Knights over 2-3 months or more ago, I just give it a try after my little brother wanted me to take a look of it and oh my god I got immediately fell in love with it! The game been around since 2011 and still live, tho not much update , there's nothing wrong to try something new even tho they're old. The scene,the music, the story and especially the design ,everything goes right with my taste and most of all,they all are so cute. xD I love this game as much how i love every single Pokemon stuff, it's just very ... something. I can't put in words about my feeling about this game I just love it so much. Now we got that from our way, I present to you Xrounder! (Full name suppose to be Xiria Rounder but i chose Xrounder for ingame name due to it sounds not decent as it seems,and yes it's also a name reference to Gundam Age's extraterrestrial human being in that series) He/She is my avatar and the picture shows them in Tier 1 certificate version. Wielding the katana design sword, Nightblade and heavy magnum(I guess?) gun, Magnus. The Shield will come later when i drew their Tier 2 Version.

Sorry took you guys so long to await this, i kinda busy with alot of stuff lately. ^^;
