Autism culture is getting annoyed at your partner sometimes for really liking your special interest. Like GET AWAY, that is MY THING!!! Feeling possessive of your special interests is so tough.

me when i see something even remotely similar to one of my hyper-fixations and/or spinterests:

now that I've got the IT bitches following me,

autism culture is genuinely getting really upset when someone says they like your special interest more than you but hiding it so they won't think you're a "weird self centered overdramatic baby" :(

Autism culture is falling in love and making that person become one of your special interests

[For me] Autism culture is staring at all the stuff you collected from your past special intrests and or hyperfixations and slowly looking at your screen as you scroll Etsy and other sites looking for stuff for your new special intrest

Autism culture is mildly falling in love with someone cus they wanted to learn more about your special interest, but specifically from listening to you and asking you questions

autism culture is developing the German language as your special interest because it's very rule heavy when learning and it's not usually irregular
