13. How much planning do you do before writing?

entirely depends on the fic. sometimes I just take a prompt and a setting and being writing without any plan or any outline and see where it ends up! sometimes i do a bullet-point list of things I wanna happen. sometimes I have a more or less solid plan for the entire fic. so... very much depends :'D

18. What’s one of your favorite lines you’ve written in a fic?

my brain is so shot to hell i can't even remember the fics i've written let alone specific lines :'D i often write lines that i feel are absolutely great in the moment, but ...yeah, remembering them afterwards is not so simple lmao. maybe:

Carefully he turned to press his nose into Leon’s hair, let Leon’s scent surround him, and for a few precious seconds it felt as if all was right in the world.

or

Piers swallowed hard, sniffling just a little. Next to him Leon leaned against him, laughing in a low voice. “Are you crying?” he asked.

“No,” Piers answered stubbornly. Then she made a little sleepy sound and Piers melted. “Okay, a little,” he admitted easily.

or

“Our pillow, honey,” Leon corrected sweetly. “What is yours is mine, right? Wasn’t that what you promised me… six days ago?”

“If you don’t shut up,” Piers threatened, even though it was absolutely ruined with the way he couldn’t stop himself from smiling, from looking at Leon as if he’d hung the damn moon. “I’m going to beat you with our pillow.”

the short (and sort of a cop-out) answer would be pretty much any of the nivannedy fics because the world needs more art of this pairing!! they are special 💖 if i'd give some shoutouts it'd be to

the long domestic series, it's seriously my escape from reality lol, I want them to be so happy.

the mutant baby series (which I am trying hard to get the second part written for, sobs, i've got like six parts planned and only one written) or the one where they adopt a baby, idk I'm not usually the biggest fan of kidfic but for some reason I've had cravings lately 😅

the re4 au which i'm still proud of even tho it kinda bombed, or maybe the re2 au with baby!Leon and Piers?? both would be very lovely.

the one where they vacation in finland, bc c'mon, nivannedy and finland? i'd melt :'D

or maybe Leon with little braids and/or curls? would be so cute :'D

the Krauser's back series, because this world seriously needs some Krauser with re6!Leon!! Leon is so damn gorgeous in re6 too and I bet Krauser would appreciate that.

but honestly just any and all would be lovely tbh.

oh that is absolutely valid! and honestly, I'm not an expert when it comes to writing techniques and whatnot, either. there are some things I really enjoy and use a lot, like for example certain kind of repetition for emphasis or coming a full circle by referencing the beginning when ending the story. super simple little things that don't require a lot of brain activity :'D sometimes i get what I think are brilliant stylistic ideas lol but that's more rare.

what I'm more sad about is, I suppose, that I love sprinkling little details and headcanons and nods to actual canon and references to other things into the text. and 99.99% of the time those go completely unnoticed lol. I sit here all "Oh MAN this is a good reference I hope someone notices!!" and ...nothing. or I use a wording I feel is absolutely gorgeous and I am all excited to share but again, nothing. that is the kind of thing that I wish there was more in fandom! pointing out the little things.
