Took 2nd place in the Spartan Race Mexico Hipodroma Stadium Race, then headed down to Villahermosa, Tabasco with the Old Man. Experiencing the struggles of my dad's daily life for a couple days was difficult, but I was able to spend great minutes, hours and 2 1/2 days worth of laughs, seeing where my dad was born and the surrounding areas in which he experienced 30+ years ago, was worth the memories that I will never forget. Sometimes people just don't understand what its like to not see your Dad everyday here in the states, alot of people have theirs hours to even minutes away and don't take advantage of it . Its a true gift though to see him smile like once before, as I visit him.
