Finally bought this book by Judy Fraser after a few years of delay. An unwise delay. But perhaps some things come to us at the right time. If I hadn't managed to meet her and the people of White Lodge, also known as The Centre For New Directions, and as The College of Psychotherapeutics, I am totally certain I would have died at the age of fifteen, completing suicide. I will never cease to be grateful for the rescue found in that place. Or to my parents for taking the risk of seeking this unorthodox help. I wonder how I'll cope with the slightly woo elements here but the book has so much depth of wisdom and so much breadth of teaching. I'll manage! For a while I wish to follow this work again. The biggest mistake of my life was to walk away from it onto a darker spiritual path. It took me two decades to even begin to recognise how dark it was. Unfortunately I destroyed all I had from White Lodge when I stepped out of the light and love. Had I stayed with the path, continued the courses at White Lodge, listened to Peter Goldman and the others. Had I stayed, how might life have been?
