Hey, I just saw your reply about saying that your TV says it has the latest firmware... I have the same TV (LG OLD B#@$#@Q) and what the TV does during its search for the latest firmware is wrong! I ended up having to download the latest firmware to a USB and then then plug that into the TV. I'd do some googling about LG + PS4 pro to see what firmware you should have.
I already had firmware that had HDR Game mode on it but there was a newer version released earlier this month that they hadn’t rolled out as an auto-update yet. It claims to correct the bottom-of-screen tearing issue that apparently happened when HDR was on, but I never noticed it.
