            ❛ Oh man, you’re really gonna do this aren’t you? Barry, this place has a like, twenty year record, there’s NO WAY you can beat this thing dude. ❜                       Listen, tourists were cute. It was nice reconnecting with some friends from college, and Barry was always fun to hang out with, but come on. There is no way any normal mortal man Barry’s size can eat that many pizzas in an hour. A small part of him wanted to take a shot at it, but... this kinda stuff was mostly for tourists. Either way, it was nice to reconnect. Peter snorted and grabbed a cheese slice for himself, nodding and grinning as Walter walked past, giving him a thumbs up. Best pizza this half of Brooklyn, and after a long day of trying to chase down that red blur around town, this was a much deserved cool down.

 ❝ How does my hair look? ❞ 

Oliver seems to be asking Dinah, considering she’s the only one other than him to be at their table, and yet he refuses to turn away from his reflection of the window. He struggles with a stray clump of hair that is insistent on being straight up.

There have been several occasions where he, Dinah, Hal, and Barry have spent time together, considering their close friendship. This time convergence from the rest. Only a few weeks ago, Oliver learned that Hal and Barry finally shared a kiss. A kiss that has long been held over the years. Oliver could see the spark between his two best friends; incidentally, he felt jealousy for Barry and Hal’s closeness, until he realized that their affection rivaled that of his and Dinah’s. Since then, Oliver demanded to spend time with his friends now that they are considered a couple.

❝ DO WHAT? ❞ He should of looked around before he used his super speed. Should of noticed someone was walking into the CSI lab and about to catch him rushing about. Even if Barry could observe everything and everyone completely frozen in place or in s l o w motion that didn’t mean he was always alert. But also usually he was too fast to be caught in the first place. ❝ I was just uhm… putting these files away. ❞

Maybe he saw nothing. Elliot knew he wasn’t the most reliable narrator of his own life so doubt started to cloud his mind. It didn’t feel great, rather shitty but it beat making a fool of himself by pointing out what he thought he’d seen to a colleague. He glanced down awkwardly, hand rubbing across the side of his head before he shook it.
