i finally remembered to record my process for an animation! ( T ∇T)9
this is a progress/speedpaint (speedanimate?) of this gif set i did for that sweet halloween spirit. it’s sped up uniformly by about 800% - the actual time it took was about 6 hours for everything you see in the video (ie, not including the probably 20-30 min i spent doing the rough sketch of Sans & Stretch dancing before i thought to record).
it’s at about the 32 minute mark that i start working on the second picture, with Pap, Blue, and the SF and UF bros, if you just want to see my sketch & composition process for that part :)
the pixel art program i use is Asesprite, in case you’re wondering <3 if you’ve got questions or anything feel free to reply below, i’ll answer back since i know some of what i do is lost in the whole ‘800% speed increase’ deal.
