*crashes down from the ceiling* I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL WHEN YUGIOH GX TAGALOG DUB WAS AIRING IN HERO TV. They had this oddest decision ever to rename some (not all) characters in Season 1, only for them to use their actual names in Season 2 forward.... The ones I remember are Judai -> Judei (wow geez very creative), Sho -> Paolo (actually normal name I'm surprised), Daichi -> Rocky (??) and Jun -> Shawn (WHO ALLOWED THIS?) and when they switched back to their original names and I have to relearn said names until I got used to them.... As for the dub quality itself, it's nice actually. Judai still says "gotcha!" iirc and Sho keeps screaming "kuya" at the top of his lungs with his high-pitched voice. Also I did mention that Tagalog Johan sounds deeper than his JP voice, like something you'd expect from a 17-year old boy who already hit puberty (my friend back then thinks it's hot). ALSO I don't think the really gay parts are censored. Actually I don't think they censored anything??
