Heās grinning a bit wider than usual, a little strained, but wonāt tell you what happened. He just gives you a hug (or your non-touch equivalent) and tells you that he likes this friend of yours.

YOUāD BEST HOPE YOU DONāT HURT THEM.ā It might be in your best interest to not tell him that he screamed the whole thing so loud you couldāve heard him a mile away.

Black scoffs, rolling his eyes. Though, to some extent, he can understand. You could hardly last at the worst of the Underground, and he knows how sweet you are. It would be too dangerous for you. So, after thinking on it for a bit, he nods and look at your best friend. His voice is oddly quiet, and all he says is,Ā āyou have my word.ā You deserve the world, and heās going to make sure that world doesnāt hurt you one bit.

He just gapes for a little while. Him? Hurt you?! Youāre his deity! He could never dream of hurting someone as sweet and wonderful as yourself! So, he tells the friend,Ā ātheyāre lucky to have someone like you.ā And then proceeds to make sure they know all the reasons he can think of as to why youāre so perfect and amazing and deserving of everything and how he could neverĀ even consider hurting you because of all those reasons! To be honest, he also thinks of those as reasons you shouldnāt be with someone like him, but he bites his tongue on that. In the end, either you or your friend will probably have to stop him. Heās got a lotĀ of reasons! I mean, has everyone seen your different types of smiles?!
