This Bourbon-Smoked Sirloin Roast recipe delivers a tender and flavorful dish infused with the rich taste of bourbon and the smoky essence from the smoker. Perfect for a special occasion or a weekend feast.
Ingredients: 1 3-4 lb sirloin roast. 1/2 cup bourbon. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, smoked paprika, and salt should all be mixed together in a bowl to make a marinade. Put the sirloin roast in a big plastic bag that can be closed again and again, and pour the marinade over it. Put the bag in the fridge for at least four hours or overnight, turning it every now and then. Get your smoker ready by heating it up to 107F 225C. Take the sirloin roast out of the marinade and throw away the marinade. After putting the roast on the smoker rack, smoke it for two to three hours, or until it's done the way you like it about 135F 57C for medium-rare. Take the roast out of the smoker and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Then cut it into pieces. Cut the sirloin roast into thin slices across the grain and serve. If you want, you can serve this dish with extra bourbon sauce on the side for extra flavor.
