hi! I was wondering how do I deal with special interests going away? My special interests always end up going away and getting replaced by something else and I can feel my acnh spin going away a little bit but I don't want it to..
Hi so with fading SpIn’s I’d take this time to take an introspective look into yourself and your surroundings. What’s going on in your life that could possibly be the cause of the fade? Have you been busy lately, could it be depression, have you burned out from it from doing the SpIn so much?
Animal Crossing is my ultra SpIn and you aren’t alone in the burnout from what I’ve gathered. A lot of people end up finishing their towns or they get to a point where the game becomes too repetitive for them. Timetravel and seeing and doing too much of everything because of the time-traveling is another reason people burn out. Not enough action basically is what all of this points to and lack of new experiences. That isn’t the point of Animal Crossing though it’s a cute game that’s meant to play it how you want to and play at your pace. Ultimately to play at a day by day only for a hour or two would be ideal but again it’s meant to be played how you want.
This is how I get the most out of the game:
I separate my Animal Crossing chores into different times throughout the day so I can continuously go on it and take time off to break things up.
And I try and not get DIY’s from other people unless it’s from the one friend I currently have added into my list.
I’ve only ever traded for items once and I wait for things to show up in Nook’s Cranny.
And I don’t time travel.
Aside from that honestly what has helped people the most, is starting their town over from scratch. For personal reasons. I’ve been considering it for a while but ultimately I’ve decided to buy a switch lite exclusively to have another town. Because I hate that you can’t have more than one island STILL.
Thank you for your question. Everyone is always welcome to especially ask me questions about Animal Crossing I may not have the answers always but it’s my ultra SpIn so it does bring me excitement.
