Ah! The Unicorn! A fabulous monster! Guardian of Purity. The Unicorn had the body of a slender young horse, the cloven hooves and beard of the goat, the tail of a lion, fur of silvery white, and a spiraling horn of purest Alicorn.A haughty and proud monster is the Unicorn. They can be harsh and unyielding, yet very intelligent. Their horns possess the power to purify. If a well or pond was polluted or poisoned, they would only have to dip their horns within it to make it clean once more, provided the cause of the impurity was removed. But it is not simply physical impurities that they can purify, it is spiritual ones as well. A touch from the horn of a living Unicorn may set to right a darkened mind, heal a twisted or broken heart, and renew a dying soul.However… Unicorns are known as monsters for a very good reason. They are the Guardians of Purity. If a person refuses, for whatever reason, to be purified; then the Unicorn will pursue them and force purity upon them whether they wish it or not. This usually involves the spearing of a person upon the the horn of the Unicorn. The most common result for this is death, as the Unicorn does not care at all whether you live or die as long as you are pure.Where did that fabulous monster, the Unicorn, disappear to? Why does it no longer wander the forests and fields of the Earth? Long ago the Unicorn left your world and crossed the veil to lands beyond. Sometimes Unicorns will still return. But they go in secret and in silence. They come with purpose to purify. Then as quickly as they have come, they leave. Back into the Otherworlds beyond.
