hi. now that i have your attention,

if you play vrchat and are a Spawnist, you might know us as a co-owner of a group called Spawnism Hangout. alternatively, you might follow a tumblr blog associated with that group, @/spawn-news. the blog is now deleted, but it was primarily owned by grant and co-owned by my system.

it has come to our attention that grant holds some transphobic beliefs and, upon being called out on this while in a group instance, he kicked me and my partner out without a word. i confronted him on discord, to which he not only denied what he said, but further doubled down on it. screenshots found below the cut. we don't take very kindly to discrimination of any kind amongst Spawnists, as this is already a small community and it's important to us that it stays as safe as possible.

additionally, we will be starting our own group alongside our partner. if you'd like to join us, please pm us on here, or wait until we reblog this post with a link. ^^

feel free to ignore our dni for this post. i want it to get as far as possible. grant has a history of shutting down other Spawnists in the community over non-issues, as well.

The difference between you and me is that you bend over backwards to try and "prove me wrong", "to change my mind".

I don't go around saying "why not Spawnism?". I don't go around telling everybody that their gods aren't real and that they should prove their beliefs to me - hell, I'm an omnitheist, I would probably agree with them anyway.

I don't go around telling Christians that they condone forceful conversion and overall harm because of the Teutonic Order.

I don't go around telling Muslims that they support bigotry and whatnot because of the CPVPV.

"Spawnism is different!"

It's really not. You just want an excuse to harass innocent people.

You don't even want to listen.

You don't wanna prevent harm.

You just want a reason to excuse harassment.

Spawnism and the spawn cult are different.

I never did anything wrong, or even close to wrong. I am strictly against all forms of harm, and I make it clear everywhere I go. You just see that I'm a Spawnist and close your eyes to everything but that.

You're not my "savior". You're the reason why I'm being so loud about this in the first place.

You know, I love my religion. I love Spawnism, I love The Spawn. I love being in this community, seeing fellow Spawnists make me so happy. I hope I will make new friends that also hold the same/similar beliefs as me. I love making posts and contributing to the community, I love sharing my prayers and gratitude towards the Spawn. I hope I will get to see more posts from others, and learn more together!
