i’m all like “this fic is going to be more rival than pride” but then i hit the pride-ish parts and im like, well,
Yami mulled it over. Yuugi was his tether to the material world; they shared the same slender hands, the same eyes, the same mouth. He had no idea what would happen if Kaiba took the Puzzle apart and put it back together, without Yuugi nearby to anchor him.
But, something about Kaiba made some very small part of him vibrate like a tuning fork – a hit and a shiver, every time. That part made him want to find out.

A few years ago, I stumbled upon a marvelous children's book, Sparky!, written by Jenny Offill and illustrated by Chris Appelhans. I was immediately drawn to the cover, with an elegant yet simply drawn sloth draped over a tree branch, and forever captured by the story of a girl who learns to love, not for what you want others to be, but for who they really are. Gorgeously illustrated, frequently funny, and always touching, Sparky! has been one of my favorites ever since. My mom shares a similar fondness for the book and its lesson, so I made her a rather large plush reminder of how much I love her and appreciate her love for my true self. Kudos to Offill and Appelhans on this beautiful piece of art, and for creating such a lovable sloth.

Just a stoopid little sketch of Twi flubbing up another one of her spells, with her pink and floofy girlfriend to ponder whether or not that that's a good thing ;) I actually got this idea a couple of weeks ago, though not to this degree, but if I'm still able to have a constant flow of Twinkie shipfodder then I'm happy. I just hope that this stoopid shit makes yu all happy :3
