jokes n japes aside... a character i hate that no one else seems to imma be real like the djd as a whole do nothing for me. and you know why I hate Damus/Tarn's arc specifically, bc I hate the message of an oppressed minority or whatever who was mutilated by his govt, became a freedom fighter/outcast, then basically became a domestic terrorist who ran a gulag/killcamp. like all the activists i know, the path tarn took is unthinkable to them, and it smacks a lil too closely of "(pic of cishet white ppl in chains) this is what the left wants!" when all i want is everyone to eat and everyone to have shelter and bodily autonomy. and everywhere i look there's fancontent of these guys and im like. the neo-nazi coding guys? really? it's other ppl's business at the end of the day but it does raise my perfectly shaped thick ass eyebrows
