Kouji looked her over, her slumped shoulders, her internal struggle. He knew it, knew it too well, the conflicting emotions and questions he [ nor anyone ] could ever find the answer.
He fought it, the urge to touch her - too afraid, too convinced that, like his twin, she had the chance to disappear into a cloud of darkness. She, like his security, sli pp i n g through his fingers, a w  a  y from his grasp.
Gaze of dark blue [locked] on the cat-like digmon not too far off, nursing her wounds, the data of the defeated aiding to her cause.
Kouji was n o t a fan of cats; Hikari’s safety, however.. That he treasured.
