basically the role of governor in the tigerclans is not applicable to every clan. the status is only necessary when a clan has more than one camp, in these clans' case it's fieldclan and canopyclan, who are respectively divided into land fieldclan and sea fieldclan, and lower canopyclan and upper canopyclan. the governor's responsibility is to oversee their camp at all times, and report to the leader and deputy about the general status of the camp and the camp's cats whenever needed. it is customary in canopyclan and fieldclan to choose a new deputy from either governor of its camps, although there is no concrete rule for this. hope you enjoyed my infodump!
