Just started reading SPAH!
âI need your name, Kurt.â Wes told Kurt from the other side of the wrought iron gate that separated Dalton from the outside world. Kurt raised an eyebrow, âYou know my name.â âItâs protocol. So, Kurt, what is your name?â
Okay I am loving this Wes xD This will keep we busy during my wait for Dalton. People who keep comparing Dalton with SPAH!, I am just at chapter 3 but you can't. Both are unique and you should just enjoy the ride, letting these amazing writers take you wherever they want.Â
HAPPY SPAH!DAY EVERYONE
This Is Halloween
Yeah, it's late, but what the hell; I'll post it anyway.
Kapashima again (obviously) with some Klaine implied, and Wevid being heterosexual life partners. They all beling to Infraredphaeton; except Holly, Megan, Felicity, and Robert. (but you can have Robert. He's a homophobic arse.)
Enjoyyy!!!
âI still donât like it.â Pratik chuckled softly, glancing at his boyfriend â who was sat with his chin on Pratikâs shoulder, chest pressed to the smaller boyâs back â before he turned back to his guitar.
âSheâs thirteen, Harry.â He murmured; but Harry just scowled.
âI donât care. Sheâd spent most of the last four years at a boarding school for girls; why isnât she still there now? Why does she have to go on a date?â Pratik laughed softly; while Blaine, sat between a particularly clingy Wes and David on the floor, turned to grin at him.
âIt was going to happen at some point; at least sheâs here, and not sneaking out of her school.â Harryâs eyes narrowed with the dapper boyâs words; and Pratik just rolled his eyes, plucking out the melody to âDonât Worryâ â prompting a smile to cross Harryâs face. The Japanese boy dropped a kiss on the back on Pratikâs neck, smiling when he squeaked softly; before he lightly tugged on the smaller boyâs belt loops.
âI think these are mine, Kapoor.â He murmured; and Pratik flushed.
âMaybe you should stop leaving your clothes on the floor.â He mumbled; and Harry grinned, before turning his boyfriendâs face towards his with a finger, and lightly pressing his lips to his. Pratik smiled into the kiss; before Kurt came running down the stairs, and yanked Blaine to his feet.
âSheâs coming down; get up.â He commanded; and the boys all exchanged a look, before obediently clambering to their feet, Harry keeping a hold of Pratikâs hand. Once theyâd all been herded to the bottom of the stairs, Kurt seized a camera sat on the bannister of the staircase; before he called up the stairs.
âYou can come down now!â
Megan came first.
As she was only seven, sheâd be trick-or-treating with Holly; and was dressed appropriately, with cute butterfly wings and deely-bobbers on her head, already clutching her pillowcase in hand. The little girl posed dramatically for Kurt, giggling as he snapped pictures of her; but then she was tugged into place beside Holly.
And Felicity was coming down the stairs.
Harry hadnât seen his other sister in almost a year; sheâd been accepted into a boarding school in Washington State when she was nine, and often spent her summers there.
The Felicity heâd seen last Christmas had been annoying as hell, and had preferred reading to going out with friends.
The Felicity coming down the stairs wasâŚwell, for the first time, Harry was noticing she was a girl.
The kimono she was wearing as her costume had been altered to have a much more flowing skirt, swirling around her legs in lilac and silver. Her dark, usually straight hair had been curled and piled on top of her head, with a few wispy curls escaping to frame her face â which was fully made up, with thick eye-liner and soft pink lipstick.
The effect was intensified when she smiled shyly at her brother.
Harry wanted to lock her up in her room and have a go a Kurt for making her look so beautiful.
Pratik plucked out the melody for âIsnât she Lovelyâ on his guitar and everyone grinned; while the Indian boy just offered his boyfriend a reassuring look. Harryâs returning look was pained; and Pratik grinned before stretching up to press his lips to the Japanese boyâs cheek.
âStop frowning.â He murmured; and rolled his eyes when Harry pouted, tugging him after his sisters to the door â just in time for the soft knock on the other side.
When Harryâs expression darkened, Pratik set his guitar down against the wall, and wrapped his arms around his waist.
âBe happy for her.â He commanded; and grinned, stretching up to press his lip against his boyfriendâs when the Japanese boyâs frown only increased. They broke apart when Holly opened the door; and Pratik snorted as Harry glared at the tall, dark-haired boy stood in the doorway, dressed in a rather cheesy representation of a vampire.
Felicity flushed as the boy grinned at her, before accepting the hand he held out for her to take.
Holly pressed a kiss to her eldest daughterâs head as she moved past her, laughing softly when she let out a soft, frustrated whine.
âBe good.â She told the girl, and Harry stepped forward, still glaring at the boy.
âCall me if you need me.â He stated shortly; and Flick rolled her eyes, before smiling as Pratik wrapped his arms around Harryâs waist, peering around the taller boy to smile at her. He carefully ignored the somewhat uncomfortable look her date was giving them.
âHave fun.â He murmured softly; and she kissed him on the forehead quickly, before letting herself be led off by the boy.
She shouted a quick âbyeâ over her shoulder as she and the boy turned to walk down the street, and Pratik waved; while Harry just continued to frown. The Indian boy smiled up at his boyfriend.
âCome on; she wonât be back for another four hours. You promised me Disney films and making fun of the older trick-or-treaters.â Harryâs expression relaxed, and his lips quirked in a smile.
âI guess someone has to stop Wes and David from scaring five year olds for life.â He conceded; and Pratik laughed, before pulling Harry back into the living room, grinning at Holly and Megan as they headed for the door; and winking at the seven year old when she stuck her tongue out at him.
-
âJust fuck off, okay?!â The front door slammed shut, and Harry sat up from where heâd been dozing off with Pratik in time to see his sister run the length of the hallway and up the stairs. Wes and David stuck their heads in the living room as Pratik blinked sleepily up at his boyfriend.
Harry just frowned at him.
âFlickâs back already.â He murmured; and turned his attention back to the direction of the front door when there was the sound of someone pounding on it.
When he looked back at Pratik, his boyfriendâs eyes were much clearer.
âIâll go talk to her; you deal with Robert.â The Indian boy murmured, getting to his feet; and Harry just nodded, kissing his boyfriend softly before padding toward the front door in socked feet, leaving Pratik to trek up the stairs.
Heâd just reached Felicityâs door when he heard Harry take off the lock, and open the door.
He closed the teenage girlâs door on the sound of her date starting an argument with Harry.
Felicity had thrown herself onto her bed, her hair â which had come loose from the pins which had held it up â fanning around her head in dark curls. She was still in her costume, but her eyeliner was smudged, and had formed dark tear-tracks on her cheek.
Pratik approached her bed cautiously, perching on the edge.
He waited for a moment before speaking.
âWhat happened?â He asked softly; and her brown eyes, so like Harryâs, filled up with tears and she turned on her side to curl up in a ball, wrapping her arms around Pratikâs waist.
âI hate them.â She whispered; and Pratik frowned, reaching out to cautiously to stroke her hair.
âWho?â Her eyes darted up to meet his, before she buried her face in his leg.
âThe people at the party.â She mumbled, voice muffled against Pratikâs jeans. The boy stayed quiet, letting her continue at her own pace; which she did.
She let out a soft, hiccupping sob, before starting to explain what had happened.
âI didnât know there was going to be alcohol, I promise. And I didnât have any; but Robert did. And then he started saying all these horrible things about you and Harry...and everyone else just laughed. They were all so mean. And when I told Robert I wanted to go, he said he wouldnât take me home, so I started walking. But h-he followed me back, and he kept sh-shouting these horrible things about you and-and I just hate him. I hate him so much!â Felicity dissolved into sobs, and Pratik frowned, pulling her up so he could hug her properly, rubbing her back as he hummed âSo Yesterdayâ.
âLaugh it off and let it go, when, when you wake up it will seem so yesterday, so yesterday. Havenât you heard that Iâm gonna be okay?â
Felicity stifled her sobs enough to mumble softly into Pratikâs chest, tightening her arms around her brotherâs boyfriend.
âIâm just a bird thatâs already flown away.â She rasped; and Pratik smiled, nodding against her hair.
âHeâs a jerk.â He offered softly; and Flick giggled, before pulling back enough to wipe at her eyes.
âI look like a mess.â She mumbled; and giggled when Pratik rolled his eyes, humming âIsnât she Lovelyâ, like he had earlier. Her giggles faded when the door to her bedroom opened, revealing Harry, Wes and David. Kurt and Blaine had left to go Trick-or-treating themselves an hour ago, and werenât due back for at least another.
Pratik frowned when he saw the way Harry was shaking out his right hand. His boyfriend just smiled wryly when he saw the look.
âI did my duty as the older brother and punched the little bastard in the face.â He stated, tone a little smug; but Pratik just rolled his eyes, taking Harryâs hurt hand in both of his when the boy sat beside Flickâs bed, winking at his sister as he lowered himself down; and prompting her to giggle again.
Wes cracked his knuckles.
âI was somewhat less gentlemanly.â The Asian boy offered; and when Pratik and Flick frowned at him, Harry snorted, while David just grinned, hugging his heterosexual life-partner.
âHe kicked him in the nads when he called Harry a bad word.â David stated happily; and Pratik shot Harry a concerned look, while the Japanese boy just rolled his eyes.
âI very possibly broke his nose; I may have deserved it.â Wes scowled, David matching his expression.
âHe just banged on your door in a threatening manner while demanding to see your sister; he deserved it. Even if he didnât that gave him the right to call you a bastard or something similar, not a fag.â Pratik flinched slightly at the word, squeezing Harryâs hand and continuing o frown at him; while Flickâs expression just darkened.
âI should has castrated him.â She stated shortly; and Wes and David just sniggered, prompted her to cross her arms defensively.
âWhat?â
Pratik slid off the bed, sitting with his back to the wall, and pulled Harry closer to him so the Japanese boyâs back was pressed to his chest; a reverse of what their positions had been earlier, before Flick had left for her party â minus Pratikâs guitar.
âAre you sure youâre okay?â He murmured, resting his chin on the taller boyâs shoulder; and Harry smiled, before turning to press his lips to Harryâs in a long, lingering kiss.
âIâll be okay.â He stated with a grin; and Pratik rolled his eyes, before tightening his grip on his boyfriend, and turning his attention to the banter quickly starting between Flick and the âTweedlesâ.
He missed the way Harry watched him, a half smile on his face.
Yeah.
Harry would be fine, so long as he could keep coming back to Pratik.
He pressed his lips to Pratikâs softly again.
âI love you, Kapoor.â He murmured softly, and Pratik smiled at him, before kissing him back.
âI love you too, Takashima.â

âU-um...Pratik?â Pratik glanced up from where he was sliding his sheet music into his folder, dark eyes surprised at the voice.
Terrance Cooper stood in from of him, nervously playing with the strap of his messenger bag.
Pratik had only spoken to the boy a couple of times since heâd started at university. Yes, they were both taking Music as a major â but Pratik had never a very social person; besides which Terrance himself always seemed nervous around Pratik - something which confused the Indian boy to no end.
Terrance nervously brushed some of his floppy, sandy hair from his eyes.
âI was wondering...well, uh, you probably know Iâm not doing to well i-in....in theory...â Pratik nodded.
Yes, he had noticed Terrance wasnât the best student in the theory lessons they shared. He was good on the keyboard, his chosen instrument â Pratik had paused during his own practice to listen to Terrance play more than once â but apart from being able to read notes off sheet music, his theory work was sadly lacking in all areas. His last few grades had left him with a down-trodden expression; and had left their professor with a frown.
Terrance took a deep breath, as if trying to gain courage from it; but Pratik beat him to it.
âDid you want help?â He asked softly; and the sandy-haired young man blinked in surprise, before nodding quickly. Pratik smiled briefly, before pulling his bag over his shoulder and taking out his phone.
âDo you want to give me your number? We can arrange a time for tutoring later.â He offered, and Terrance grinned, before rattling off his number; and flushing when Pratik grinned, and asked him to slow down. As he reeled off his number, much slower this time, Pratik chanced a glance up at him; and smiled briefly when he flushed and grinned back, before saving the number.
âSo youâll text me?â Terrance asked; a little eagerly, but Pratik brushed it off.
âAny way you want it.â He offered, returning the smile the other boy sent him, before he headed for the door.
He missed the little fist-pump Terrance did as he left.
-
Pratik was sat on the edge of his bed, tugging at the laces of his lilac converse, when a pair of arms wrapped around his waist, pulling him back into a warm hug. He grinned briefly, as Harry rested his chin on his shoulder.
âAfternoon.â The Japanese boy offered; and Pratik turned to lightly press his lips to his cheek.
âGood afternoon.â He murmured in response; and Harry grinned, before sliding round to sit cross-legged beside his boyfriend, grin widening when Pratik rested his head on his shoulder.
âHow was your day?â The smaller boy asked softly, smiling when Harry wrapped an arm around his waist. A soft sigh came from the Japanese boy.
âOrdinary. I missed you.â He turned to grin at Pratik; but the other boy just smiled to himself as he resumed working at his shoelaces.
âI miss you; I miss you so bad.â Harry rolled his eyes; before he smirked mischievously, and tackled Pratik back on the bed, grinning at the squeak it elicited from the smaller boy. Pratik scowled up at him; before stifling a gasp when Harry dropped his head to start pressing kisses along his neck. He swallowed thickly, and Harry grinned, before staring to question the boy beneath him.
âWhat about your day?â He asked between kisses; and Pratikâs eyes slipped closed as Harry began to work at a particularly sensitive patch of skin close to his collarbone.
âN-not bad. We had a test in theory.â A soft whimper left his lips unexpectedly when Harry pulled away; but the Japanese boy just smiled wickedly, eyes dancing. Pratik pouted; but then grinned when Harry ducked to press their lips together, releasing Pratikâs wrists where heâd pinned them when heâd tackled him, so the smaller boy could wrap his arms around his neck. Pratik hummed contentedly into the kiss, until they broke apart, and Harry turned his attention back to his neck.
âBoy in my class asked for help with the theory work; Terrance Cooper? Heâs been having trouble.â Harry sat up quickly at the name, and frowned at his boyfriend.
âTerrance? Sandy hair, green eyes; a little shorter than me? Hot Terrance?â Pratik pouted â partially because Harry had stopped kissing him, and partially at him calling another boy hot â before he shrugged.
âI guess. I mean, Iâm more into oriental types...â He trailed off, grinning at Harry; but the other boy refused to be swayed, still frowning. Pratik frowned back at him, before pushing himself up on his elbows.
âWhatâs wrong?â He asked; but Harry just shook his head, climbing off him to walk to the other side of their bedroom, grabbing a bottle of water from the top of the chest of drawers in the corner.
Harry hesitated for a moment before speaking.
âYou know heâs gay, right?â He offered over his shoulder; and Pratikâs frown deepened.
Why did it matter? Yeah, he knew Terrance was gay; he was out and proud - kinda in the way Blaine had been in high school, Pratik remembered. But Pratik was dating Harry. Why did it matter if he tutored a boy who just happened to swing the same way he did?
âYes.â Pratik murmured, continuing to frown at his boyfriend; and sighed when Harry didnât turn around, getting to his feet and moving to stand behind him, wrapping his arms around his waist.
He hummed the chorus to âSongbirdâ softly, and felt it when Harry relaxed slightly; and grinned when he switched to âAll You Need Is Loveâ, and Harry laughed softly, turning in his arms. He smoothed his features and offered the taller boy a serious look.
âYou know I love you, right?â He murmured; and Harry nodded. Pratik smiled at him, and stretched up on his tiptoes, pressing his lips to the Japanese boyâs in a soft, chaste kiss.
âSo stop worrying.â He murmured; before dragging Harry back towards the bed, walking backwards with a slow grin spreading across his face. Harry arched an eyebrow at him; before tackling him onto the bed again, Pratik shrieking in laughter before it was muffled when Harry kissed him.
-
âSo, dissonance is when notes form a harsh sound; like when Professor Jenkins presses the keys on the piano to get Hayley to stop talking. Okay?â Terrance nodded, tearing his eyes away from the Indian boy talking to him long enough to actually look at the section of the text book he was referring to. Pratik smiled at him briefly.
âI know. Itâs confusing. But itâs pretty easy when you get used to it. So, the next one; what is a dominant?â Terrance shut his eyes thinking; and Pratik took the opportunity to watch him.
Heâd been tutoring Terrance for a fortnight now; and all in all, things were going well. Admittedly, the other boy had trouble concentrating; he was easily distracted, and zoned out now and then, but apart from then he seemed eager to learn. He worked quickly through the tests Pratik gave him â although they werenât always one hundred percent correct â and knew many of the more basic technical terms already; all he needed was help sorting them out.
Pratikâs phone vibrated in the pocket of his jeans, and he pulled it out, glancing at the screen; and grinned when he saw it was a text from Harry, opening it quickly.
Afternoon, Kapoor. :)
Still up for take out and Disney films?
I raided Klaineâs apartment; got all your favourites.
Come prepared for sing-along. ;)
Takashima xxx
Pratik tapped out a quick reply, before pulling his phone back in his pocket, and turning his attention back to Terrance, who had looked up nervously. Pratik smiled back at him; before frowning when the other boy looked nervous for a moment, glancing at the textbook, before meeting Pratikâs eyes again.
âDid you want to get coffee with me next week?â He blurted out; and looked panicked for a moment, before Pratik smiled; someone bemused, but still polite.
âWhen?â He asked; and Terrance grinned.
âTuesday morning? At the Costa on campus?â Pratik nodded; before he was distracted by his phone again, and pulled it out.
âSure. Itâs a date.â He murmured, not really paying attention to what he was saying; before grinning at the message, and getting to his feet, grabbing his bag with a smile at Terrance.
âKeep practicing; Iâll see you on Tuesday?â Terrance nodded eagerly, and Pratik grinned at him, before turning and heading out the doors of the library, where heâd been tutoring the other boy. He buttoned his coat â bright red, a birthday present from Harry â as he walked; and grinned at the figure waiting for him when he reached the exit to the College. His pace picked up to a run; and Harry caught him with a laugh when he jumped him, pressing his lips to his.
âSo. Disney? Take-out?â The Japanese boy offered with a grin when he dropped his boyfriend, linking their hands. Pratik grinned up at him; and hummed âA Whole New Worldâ, causing Harry to laugh, pulling him into a one-armed hug.
âAladdin first, then.â He murmured into his boyfriendâs hair.
-
They were half way through Mulan, the third film of the night, before Tuesday came up.
Harry lightly traced patterns on Pratikâs stomach where he was leaning back against Harryâs chest, causing him to smile briefly, as they watched Mushu controlling his straw puppet, sat on top of a black-and-white panda. Harry pressed his face into his boyfriendâs hair â strongly smelling of the thick, spicy, heady scent he always associated with Pratik.
âDo you want to get breakfast with me on Tuesday?â He murmured; and Pratik smiled â before he frowned.
âI canât.â Harry turned his head, pressing his cheek to the top of Pratikâs head.
âMore tutoring?â He asked, slightly irritated; he was starting to feel this other boy was taking up far too much of Pratikâs time. He wasnât jealous; he just missed his boyfriend.
And Terrance had looked far too happy the last few times heâd left his and Pratikâs tutoring sessions.
...Okay, so maybe Harry was a little jealous.
Pratik shook his head under Harryâs cheek, eyes still fixed to the screen.
âTerrance wants to go out for coffee; just as friends, no tutoring.â Harry stiffened; and Pratik frowned, turning his head to look at his boyfriend.
âWhat is it?â Harry cleared his throat, avoiding Pratikâs eyes; before he let out a soft sigh.
âYou donât think youâre spending too much time with him?â He asked softly; and Pratik tilted his head.
âDo you think Iâm spending too much time with him?â The Indian boy asked softly; and Harry shrugged helplessly.
âI donât like the way he looks at you.â He whispered; and Pratik sighed, pausing the movie, before curling up against Harryâs chest, wrapping his arms around his waist.
He sang softly, voice muffled against Harryâs shirt, but still decipherable.
âNo I wonât hesitate no more, no more, this is our fate, Iâm yours...â Harry sighed, and shut his eyes, pressing his face into Pratikâs hair.
âI just-I miss you. I feel like I rarely see you anymore. And I donât like the idea of this boy stealing all your time.â Pratik smiled against his boyfriendâs chest.
âI love you, I love you, I love you like never before. And nothing is going to change that, Takashima. But if you want me to stop tutoring him...â Harry shook his head quickly, lifting Pratikâs head with a finger to look him in the eyes.
âItâs fine. I know he needs the help; and I know how much you would have appreciated a tutor at Dalton â I can tell you see yourself in him at points.â Pratik smiled briefly, before poking Harry in the chest.
âI had a tutor. He was just an oblivious anglophiliac who almost stalked the only British guy in our class.â Harry blinked at his boyfriend, tilting his head to the side with a frown.
âSomeone else tutored you?â He asked; and laughed when Pratik smacked him on the shoulder, before slumping against him and looking back at the television, pressing play on the remote.
âYouâre a jerk, Takashima.â He muttered; and Harry grinned, kissing the top of his head.
âYou love it, Kapoor.â Pratik just snorted.
-
âYouâre such a jerk sometimes, Takashima.â Pratik yanked off his scarf, throwing it on the couch, before shrugging off his coat and throwing it the same way. Harry stood at the door, scowling at him.
âWhat? Because I donât want some other guy perving on my boyfriend?â Pratik shot him a withering look, before heading towards the kitchen.
âHe was just being nice. He said hello, for Godâs sake! That was it. We spoke about yesterdayâs test, and that was it. You did not have to spend the whole time glaring at him!â He snapped, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge and opening the lid with a sharp twist. Harry just frowned at him.
âCould you seriously not tell he was flirting with you? Are you that oblivious?â Pratik rolled his eyes, pushing past the taller boy on the way to the living room.
âDonât talk to me about oblivious.â He muttered; and Harryâs eyes narrowed.
âWhat is that supposed to mean?â The look Pratik offered him was frustrated.
âWhy are we even having this conversation? You shouldnât have acted like that, Harry. It was unfair.â Harry just continued to watch his boyfriend, ignoring the part of his brain screaming at him to just suck it up and apologise.
âHe was flirting with you, Pratik. Did you think I was just going to stand there and let another guy throw himself at my boyfriend?â Pratik turned on him sharply.
âWhy does it matter? Iâm not interested in him; even if he was flirting, itâs not going to affect the way I feel about you.â The laugh Pratik choked out was bitter; and Harry would later reflect that it was then that he really should have stopped, apologised, because Pratik only ever sounded like that when he was close to tears.
âUnless, of course, you doubt the way I feel about you. Is that your problem?â Harry remained silent, leaning in the doorway with his arms crossed over his chest; and Pratik pushed the heels of his hands into his eyes, letting out a slow breath.
âWhen is it going to get across to you that Iâm not going to run off with the first other guy who is interested, Harry?â Pratikâs voice was soft, and Harry ran his fingers through his hair; but didnât respond. Pratik dropped his hands, and gave Harry a serious look.
âDo you want me to stop tutoring him? Will that make you happy?â Harry hesitated; before he shook his head. Pratikâs expression twisted, and he nodded, mostly to himself; before he grabbed his coat and scarf, leaving the water bottle on the side table.
âFine. Iâm going to stay at Liamâs for a couple of days; call me when you know what you want.â Pratik shrugged his coat on as he walked out of the door, slamming it behind him.
And Harry slid down to sit on the floor, pressing his face to his knees as the first of the tears came.
-
Pratik sniffled softly where he was curled up on Liamâs couch, swamped by one of the larger boyâs sweatshirts, Lee and Jim sat on either side of him.
âI just donât get it.â He mumbled; and Jim chuckled, pulling Pratik closer to him via an arm around the smaller boyâs shoulders.
âItâs just Kitten having an insecure moment, Tiki. Heâll wake up soon enough and apologise.â Pratik shook his head lightly; but managed to force a smile when Liam walked into the room, handing the silently weeping boy a mug of hot chocolate. Liam stood in front of the trio for a moment, nervously rubbing the back of his neck; before he sighed heavily.
âLook, I know this might be bad timing, but does Harry have anyone with him at the moment? Heâs probably just as torn up as you are Pratik.â Lee glared at the standing boy, while Pratik just sniffled, rubbing at an eye with the back of his hand.
âI called Ben after I left; heâs probably there by now.â Jim and Lee exchanged a look over Pratikâs head; before Jim wrapped both his arms around the smaller boy.
âYou really love him, donât you Tiki?â Pratik snorted, before humming âObviousâ; only for more tears to well up in his eyes as he realised the only person whoâd really appreciate what he was saying was the person he was fighting with. Lee got to his feet, beginning to pace restlessly; and the others just watched him.
âShould I go talk to him?â He asked abruptly, turning to look at Jim; before he frowned, and began pacing again.
âNah, heâs got Ben. Fuck.â The pacing boy stuck his hands in his hair; and Jim got to his feet, moving to wrap his arms around Leeâs waist.
âDonât fret, sweet thing. Iâm sure Tiki wonât mind if we go have a chat with Kitten?â Jim turned his head to look at the guitarist; who just shrugged from where he was staring into his hot chocolate.
âKurt and Blaine will be here soon.â He said; what he didnât say was how much he hated the idea of Harry only having Ben, when he was probably hurting just as much a Pratik.
Nor did he say how much it hurt to watch the way Jim and Lee interacted, when really, he should have Harry there to be mushy and disgusting with.
Lee and Jim exchanged a look, before nodding quickly at each other. Jim released his boyfriend as he moved to crouch in front of the distracted Indian boy.
âDo you want us to get you some clothes, Tiki?â He asked softly; and Pratik shook his head quickly.
âIf-if I get clothes...â He trailed off; but Liam, stood behind him, nodded, reaching out to rest a hand on his shoulder.
âIf you get stuff that means this is serious; and that itâs not going to be resolved quickly.â Pratik just ducked his head; and as Jim and Lee left, he sang softly to himself.
âWhat are we doing? I am too in love with you...â
-
They didnât see each other at all on Monday.
Their fight had been on Sunday; Pratik had convinced Harry to take him out to buy a new pair of floral converse heâs had his eyes on for a while, and because Harry could never resist his boyfriendâs pout, heâd said yes.
Theyâd run into Terrance outside the music store; and Harry had instantly grabbed Pratikâs hand when heâd seen the was the other boy was watching him, staring him down.
Heâd very nearly hit Terrance more than once that day; and Harry wasnât a generally violent person.
But those people who did see them the day after â namely their professors, the people in their classes, and Lee and Jim when they visited each of them in the afternoon â couldnât help but notice the shadows under Pratikâs eyes, and the way heâd retreated back into speaking through song-lyrics.
Heâd been doing so well since he and Harry had started going out.
Harry had barely succeeded in paying attention in his lecture; and heâd flinched every time someone had called his name.
But his mind had been reeling all day; and after Jim and Lee had left, while Ben was trying to scare up something to eat, he picked up his phone.
And, for the first time in...well, ever, he scrolled to E in his contacts.
-
Pratik turned his coffee cup absently in his hands as Terrance continued to talk enthusiastically opposite him, lightly tapping out chords on the polystyrene. At a break in the other boyâs chatter, he glanced up, cutting into the conversation.
âCan I ask something?â His voice was rough after all the crying heâd done last night; heâd called Ben before he went to sleep, to check up on his â hopefully still â boyfriend.
Hearing how heâd barely slept had almost broken Pratikâs heart.
Finding out that heâd refused Benâs offer to sit up and watch Doctor Who with him had finished the job.
But his eyes were surprisingly clear as he watched the boy across the table, trying to see what Harry had.
He noted the way Terrance was leaning further forward than strictly necessary; and if he was brutally honest, it had been unnecessary for the other boy to touch his arm when heâd turned up.
The enthusiasm in his eyes was also a little un-nerving.
Terrance nodded quickly, a grin spreading across his features; while Pratik turned his eyes back to his coffee.
âYou know weâre just friends, right?â He asked softly; and glanced up in time to see Terranceâs smile fade, and his eyes turn unsure.
âUh...â Pratik cut in again.
âBecause I have a boyfriend. Harry. I love Harry.â Terranceâs expression dropped; before he latched onto something.
âB-but youâre fighting.â He whispered; and Pratik shut his eyes, running a hand through his hair.
Harry had been right.
And Pratik felt like an idiot.
âLook, Terrance...â He glanced up at the boy, and his eyes were hard; no room for argument.
âI love Harry. So, so much. Yes, weâre fighting at the moment, but I fully intend for things to be sorted by the end of the day. I donât want to have to stop helping you; youâre a nice guy. A good friend. But I love Harry. Heâs my boyfriend; he has been for over two years. And I donât see that changing for a long time.â Terrance watched Pratik, the words sinking in; before he offered Pratik a nervous smile.
âHeâs a lucky guy.â The sandy-haired boy murmured; and Pratik smiled wistfully.
âIf you could see the way he loves me...â He murmured; before he shut his eyes again, sighing softly before he got to his feet, taking his coffee with him.
âIâll see you in class, Terrance.â He offered, a half smile turning up the corner of his lips, before he headed for the door.
He ignored the familiar black beanie he saw in the corner of the room.
After all, whoever that was, he was sat next to someone with pretty obvious ginger hair.
And since when did Harry hang out with Eric of all people?
-
âI could always just blow him up; no more competition, problem solved, fight over.â Harry threw Eric an irritated look, before looking back at the table where Terrance and Pratik were sat.
If anyone was honest, Harry looked awful. There were purple, bruise-like circles beneath his eyes â which were blood-shot â and his usual neat style had been replaced by one of Pratikâs less vibrant hoodies â a soft grey one which still smelt like the Indian boy â and a pair of baggy jeans he was pretty sure would give Kurt a heart attack. There wasnât a badge in sight; which, in itself, had worried Eric when heâs first arrived at the Japanese boyâs apartment more than any of the other stuff.
âSeriously, it wouldnât take much. Or I could boil him alive in acid. That would be fun.â The look Harry shot him was a little frightened â though the âlitheâ counter tenor noted the interested gleam in his eye with relish â but then he turned back to the table his boyfriend was sat at, frowning at the little speaker he held in his hand.
âAre you sure you bugged the right table? Because this doesnât sound like Pratik.â Eric frowned, and leaned around Harry, looking at the table heâd attached the tiny microphone to with the help of a waitress he knew; before his frown faded, and he hissed softly.
âThis is always so much easier when there is a reservation system in play.â He muttered; and Harry rolled his eyes, before almost throwing the speaker at the other boy.
âYouâre hopeless.â He snapped; and Ben, sat across the table, frowned at Harry.
âWhy are you even doing this, Harry? The way things are going, if what youâre scared of does happen, youâre just going to end up hurt; not that I believe for a second that Pratik would leave you.â Harry frowned at him friend, before looking back at the table Pratik had been sat at; only to see his boyfriend leaving.
He blinked in surprise; before ducking his head when Terrance looked his way.
Too late, however, as the boy gathered up his things before approaching their table.
Harry stared at his hands, avoiding looking at the other boy when he reached their table; while Eric watched Terrance with a some-what manic gleam in his eyes.
Ben glanced at him, wishing Liam was there; he was pretty sure Eric was internally calculating how much acid it would take to boil the sandy-haired boy alive.
Terrance cleared his throat.
âUh...Harry?â The Japanese boy glanced up; before flinching, and looking back at his hands.
Terrance smiled a little; if Harry was as torn up as he appeared after one fight, he was sure he was making the right choice.
âUm...I wanted to apologise. For...for flirting with Pratik. Iâm pretty sure itâs my fault youâre fighting at the moment, and Iâm sorry for that too. Just...Iâll back off, okay? Youâre really lucky. He really loves you.â Harry smiled to himself, playing with the packets of sugar on the table.
âIf you could see the way he loves me.â He mumbled; and Terrance blinked, surprised.
âPratik said the same thing about you.â He offered; before he turned and walked out of the coffee shop, leaving Harry staring after him.
Ben threw Harryâs scarf to him as he jumped to his feet, pulling on his gloves quickly.
âHead back to your house first; it wonât hurt to check.â The British boy offered; and Harry smiled at him briefly, before walking quickly from the shop.
Ben stared after him for a moment; before Eric spoke up.
âIt wouldnât have taken much more than twelve litres, with a properly sized container. Or a kilogram of C4; that would have worked.â Ben offered the boy a slightly frightened look; but Eric just met his stare, gaze scarily intense.
âNow. English boy. Take me to Liam; I havenât seen him in over forty eight hours, and Iâm sure heâs quickly transforming into a mother hen by now.â
Ben just rolled his eyes, before pulling out his wallet.
-
Harry nearly crashed through the front door of his and Pratikâs apartment, hair messy from where heâd pulled off his beanie and run his fingers through it repeatedly; only to freeze when he saw to boy sat on the couch, legs pulled up to his chest.
He was still wearing the same lemon-yellow skinny jeans heâd been wearing; but instead of the sky-blue skirt heâd been wearing on Sunday, he was wearing a dark grey one that was obviously too large for him â one of Liamâs, most likely.
Pratikâs eyes were red when he looked up at his boyfriend.
âDarlinâ Iâve been waiting for you all my life.â He rasped, voice rough from tears.
Harry crossed the room in three strides, and pulled Pratik to his chest, hugging him tightly. The smaller boy wrapped his arms tightly around his boyfriendâs waist, his face pressed into Harryâs shirt.
âIâm so sorry. You were right.â He whispered; and Harry hugged him tighter.
âNo, it was my fault. I shouldnât have doubted you; I just...â Harry trailed off, and Pratik pulled him down onto the couch, curling up in his lap. He peered up at Harry, eyes round and still wet with tears.
âTell me?â He whispered; and Harry shut his eyes, before dropping his head back.
He took a deep breath before replying.
âI just-I keep thinking that at some point, youâre going to figure out how much better you can do.â His voice was soft; and Pratik watched him for a moment, brow creasing in an absurdly endearing way; before he twisted to kneel on the couch, and press his lips to Harryâs. When he pulled away, Harryâs eyes opened, and met Pratikâs; and the Indian boy smiled softly, pressing his lips to his boyfriendâs forehead.
âWhat are we doing? I am too in love with you.â He murmured; and Harry shut his eyes again, before wrapping his arms around Pratikâs waist, and hugging him again, face pressed into Liamâs shirt â which already smelled like Pratik.
âI missed you so much.â He whispered; and Pratik smiled as he stroked his fingers down Harryâs back, humming to him softly as he felt the taller boyâs tears soak through his shirt.
âI missed you too, Takashima.â He murmured softly.
-
Hours later, after the expected making-out and whispered apologies, Harry and Pratik lay together on their bed, legs intertwined.
They were both still fully clothed â neither were feeling up to anything like that when they were still both so emotionally fragile â but the intimacy of the moment couldnât be missed.
Not with the way their eyes were locked, and the way Pratik was holding one of Harryâs hands to his chest, over his heart.
âItâs yours, Takashima.â He murmured softly, a smile spreading across his face as he watched his boyfriend.
âA hundred guys could line up in front of me, and Iâd turn them all away for you.â He breathed; and his smile widened as Harry adopted one of his own.
The Japanese boy wrapped an arm around Pratikâs neck, pulling him flush against his chest, pressing his face into the Indian boyâs hair.
âWhat did I ever do to deserve you, Kapoor?â He whispered; and Pratik smiled briefly.
âYou were sat in my dorm room putting badges on your blazer at the start of our Freshman year; and instead of staring at my sisters, you looked at me.â Harry grinned, shutting his eyes and tightening his hold on Pratik.
âIt was hard to look away.â He murmured; and Pratik bit his lip, glad the blush rising on his cheeks was hidden, while he softly hummed âWhat makes you Beautifulâ; and chuckled when Harry groaned â because despite his love for all things British, he drew the line at One Direction.
They fell asleep like that; with Pratikâs face pressed to Harryâs chest - and Harryâs hand still over Pratikâs heart.

Friend: So, what are you doing for halloween? I'm going to stay up all night with *insert name of other friend here* and watch scary movies, and try and scare trick-or-treaters. XD
Me: ...I'm going to write Kapashima and ignore trick-or-treaters, because I have no life.
Friend: ...Oh. Um, what's Kapashima?
Me: ...
(That second one...it was probably worse than her not inviting me to join her.)
Birthday Party
In which seven-year-olds are cock-blocks and there is Kapashima making out.
I brought Megan and Holly back, because they are beautiful and I love them.
SPAH! is infraredphaetons and blah blah disclaimers and chiz. Enjoy.
Paint covered fingers were wiggled in Pratikâs face, drawing his attention from his guitar, and he blinked in surprise.
âClean them.â The dark haired child stood in front of him demanded; and before Pratik could respond, a muttering Holly Takashima had seized the girl by the elbow, and was pulling her back to the craft table, where the other six year olds were sat.
Well, and the seven year old Megan Takashima, whose birthday party this was. Someone flopped onto the floor beside him, and he turned to blink at the lanky boy lounging back on his elbows.
âWhy are we here again?â Liam asked the Indian boy; and Pratik smiled briefly, while David spoke up from his other side, where he was tangled up with Wes.
âBecause Harry couldnât stand being stuck with a large group of six year olds alone; and Megan is in love with you.â Pratik nodded absently, turning back to his guitar; while the ginger boy crouching beside Liam hissed.
âI dislike this party. It is severely lacking in flammable liquids.â Eric hissed; and Liam frowned at him.
âThatâs because this is a party for six year old girls, Eric; everything in this house has been child-proofed.â Eric just hissed again, crossing his arms over his chest; and Pratik smiled. He was one of the few people able to stand Eric; and that was only because he was extremely patient.
Well, and because he didnât talk as much as everyone else; Eric was pretty harmless without some kind of vocal stimulus.
Across the room, Harry was trying to escape the blonde triplets who had accosted him into helping them with their picture; but they werenât giving up easily, one having attached herself to his right arm, while another was giggling as she continued to attempt to get paint on the frustrated teenagerâs face.
Megan, who was sat at the other end of the table, shouted over to her brother.
âStop stealing my friends, Harry!â She snapped, her nose screwed up furiously; and Harry shot her a withering look.
âIâm not sat here by choice, Megan.â He offered shortly; and scowled when his friends sniggered.
Well, until Wesâ sister â who had been invited by Megan, as the little girl had decided she wanted to be Emily when she was older â grabbed Davidâs hand, attempting to pull him away from Wes.
Who shrieked like a little girl, clinging to his best friend desperately.
âGet your own, Phillip!â He snapped; and the mini female Wes scowled.
âDonât call me Phillip!â She shrieked; and Pratik snorted softly, plucking at his guitar. Liam chuckled softly from beside him, while Eric just watched the interaction between the siblings â and the content smile on Davidâs face as he was fought over â with slightly concerning fascination.
âStop looking at them like that, Eric, youâre scaring the children.â Pratik glanced up at the voice; and smiled when he saw Harry, watching the hissing Eric with a frustrated frown. The Japanese boy turned his attention back to his best friend, sat clutching his guitar, and he grinned.
âEnjoying yourself Kapoor?â Pratik smiled at Harry, absently plucking at the strings of his guitar.
âIâve had the time of my life.â He mumbled, and Harry grinned, taking the seat David had vacated while Wes and Emily fought over him. Pratik watched his friend as he let out a soft huff, frowning at the table of little girls, all shouting at one another â though none of them appeared to be saying anything unpleasant, from the way Holly Takashima was laughing with one of the other mothers who had stayed to watch the brood.
âI canât believe mom agreed to let Megan have this party.â He muttered, shaking his head lightly, and Pratik grinned, plucking out the chords for âIsnât She Lovelyâ.
Harry just snorted.
âYou say that...â He started. He turned to look at Pratik; and the smaller boy stiffened when he realised how close they were, faces barely an inch apart. His eyes flickered down to Harryâs lips, and then back up; just in time to see Harryâs eyes begin to slip closed as he leant forwards, lips almost brushing-
âHarry! Harry, my cup is empty! Harry!â Harry pulled back quickly, and turned to look at his sister, who was waving her empty cup with a scowl. The boy sighed heavily, before smiling apologetically at Pratik; who was still dazed from what had almost happed, eyes glazed over.
âPlease excuse me while I attend to my demon of a little sister.â He offered, before getting to his feet and heading toward the table.
âWell that was anti-climatic.â Liam remarked from beside Pratik; while Wes, who was alternating between hugging David where they were now sat on the couch behind the other Kieran boys, and glaring at Emily, was a little more blunt.
âSix year olds are such cock-blocks, arenât they, Tiki?â Pratik just stared after his best friend a little wistfully, barely following when Liam reminded Wes that Megan was technically seven now.
âYou have no idea.â He mumbled; and leant back against the couch with a huff.
-
âSing!â Harry glared at his little sister.
âYou canât just order him around like that, Megan.â He snapped; and she glared right back, pointing at the tiara sat on her head, which had âbirthday princessâ proclaimed across it.
âYes I can. Itâs my birthday. Besides, he promised!â The little girl turned her pout on Pratik; who just smiled briefly, experimenting with a couple of chords. Harry just frowned at his friend â god how he wished they were more than that â before looking back at Megan.
âJust because itâs your birthday doesnât mean you get to order Pratik around.â He insisted; and his mother called from where she was stood with the remaining mother who had stayed behind. The other woman â the mother to the triplets, coincidentally â had gone home half an hour ago. Only the children who were going to sleep round â and Mrs Aimsworthâs daughter â remained now.
âMegan, ask Pratik nicely. If he says yes, okay, but if not you must leave Harry and his friends alone, okay?â Megan pouted again, crossing her arms over her chest; before she sidled up to Pratik, smiling sweetly.
âPlease play a song for me, Tiki? It is my birthday.â Pratik blinked at the little girl â who fluttered her eyelashes innocently â and glance incredulously at Harry â who just rolled his eyes â before nodding; which made Megan shriek happily, and tug some of her friends closer to where Pratik was sat, circling the boy.
Eric was staring at the girl from where he was say on top of the Takashimaâs mantle, his expression a mixture of fascination and horror.
âShe is an evil genius.â He offered in an awed whisper; and Liam frowned at him.
âWhat are you doing up there, Eric? Sit on the couch or something, like a normal person.â Eric hissed at him, before obediently sliding off the mantle, and moving to crouch â cat-like â on the couch beside Liam, watching Pratik with a frown as he tested his strings, checking is guitar was tuned right.
It always was; but there were nine six year olds in the room. He could never be sure.
Pratik took a deep breath, glancing at Harry; before he began to play, singing softly, his slightly rough voice giving the song a unique twist.
Because Harry knew this song well; and he felt something in his chest go warm as he recognised it.
âI woke up this morning with a grudge the size of your story, oh, I feel, I feel so low. Let me start at the end, the part I havenât figure out yet, yes, I am, Iâm moving slow...â
Harry grinned at Pratik when he glanced up; but it faded when Pratik flushed, ducking his head and continuing to sing, voice rising with the chorus.
âIf I just save you, then you could save me too. If I just save you, then you could save me too...â
Pratikâs voice softened again as he slipped into the second verse, fingers dancing over the fret board, while his eyes slipped closed as he sang; and his voice rose again with the chorus. He was oblivious to the way Harry was watching him as he sang; to the way Megan had succeeded in worming her way into Liamâs lap, and was humming along absently; to the smirking looks Wes and David were giving both him and Harry â who just rolled his eyes, turning back to his friend.
Who, at that moment, opened his eyes, singing the bridge right to Harry.
âI believe in the finer things and, you donât believe in me. I said, I believe in the finer things and you donât believe in me. I said I believe in the finer things and you donât...â
Pratikâs voice rose again with the chorus, his eyes still locked on Harryâs; and finally, it seemed to sink in what exactly he was singing.
And Harryâs are constricted in his chest.
âWhat are we doing? I am too in love with you. Iâve forgot what I wanted to say. What are we doing? I was so in love with you. Iâve forgot what I wanted to say...â
Harry swallowed thickly as Pratik finished the song, dropping his eyes to his fingers, hovering on the strings; still, for once.
Megan sat in Liamâs lap for a moment longer; before she jumped off, intent on the kitchen.
âCake!â She shrieked; and the other girls picked it up, following the birthday girl â with Wes and David close behind, Eric dragging Liam after them as well.
When the tall boy made to protest, Eric just nodded at when Harry was slowly approaching his best friend, sat silently on the couch.
The athletic boy followed his friend silently.
Harry dropped into the seat beside Pratik; and let out a long, slow breath.
âSo.â He started, and turned to face Pratik; only for the other boy to crash his lips to his, reaching out to lightly hold the back of Harryâs neck.
The Japanese boyâs eyes widened; before they slipped closed, and he lightly cupped the side of Pratikâs face, stroking his thumb over the Indian boyâs cheek bone.
By the time they broke apart, Pratik had set his guitar down on the ground, and his arms were around Harryâs neck, while Harry had pulled him almost into his lap, one arm wrapped around the smaller boyâs waist, while he still held the side of Pratikâs face with his free hand. Their lips were still moving together, Harry pulling Pratikâs bottom lip through his teeth and eliciting a soft moan which allowed him greater access to the other boyâs mouth-
-when a disgusted voice came from the entrance of the living room.
âEww! Harry! If you must make out with your boyfriend, donât do it in the living room! And not on my birthday. Mom! Make Harry stop it!â The pair pulled away from one another in time to see Megan retreating back toward the kitchen, still calling form her mother. Pratik pulled Harryâs face back around toward his, and pressed their foreheads together.
âYour sister,â He started, slightly breathless.
âIs a fucking cock-block.â He finished. Harry grinned, ducking down to press kisses along Pratikâs jaw.
âLanguage, Kapoor. This is a childrenâs party.â He offered between kissed; and felt it when Pratik laughed softly, voice rough.
âFuck you, Takashima.â He muttered; and when Harry looked up, his eyes were dark.
It took Pratik a moment to realise just what heâd said exactly; and when he had, he flushed, before crashing his lips to Harryâs again, looking for a distraction.
Harry was more than willing to help.
Outside the door, Liam, Wes, David and Eric peered into the room; before silently closing the sliding doors which separated the living room from the rest of the house.
Let them make out all they wanted; Megan really had been a right cock-block that afternoon.
Besides; the two boys had been pining long enough.
It was a general consensus that they deserved a little alone time.
I CAN'T STOP WRITING KAPASHIMA, GUYS. IT'S A SERIOUS PROBLEM.
Valentines Day
Kapashima drabbly goodness...
You know the drill by now; I don't own anything recognisable as SPAH! originated. Naomi; yeah, she's mine.
For some reason, I am displeased with this....
Pratik hummed softly to himself as he experimented with various chords on his guitar, writing them down on the blank music sheets sat in front of him when ever he found one he thought went well with the next. Across the room, Liam was sat at his laptop, typing furiously. Pratik glanced at him, fingers itching to play the chords he knew only Harry would understand; before speaking aloud.
âNo date for Valentines?â He asked softly; and Liam turned to glance at him, smiling briefly.
âNah; I havenât had much time to go on dates lately. Although that Santana girl keeps showing up.â Liam frowned at the thought; and Pratik smiled briefly, plucking out the chords to âPsycho Girlâ â just in time for Harry to walk in.
The Japanese boy grinned, before glancing at Liam.
âTalking about Santana again?â He asked; and Pratik plucked out âObviousâ, while Liam rolled his eyes.
âSheâs insane. It kinda makes me wish I did have a girlfriend, so I didnât have to keep on making up excuses.â Pratik regarded Liam curiously for a moment, tilting his head to the side; before he set his guitar down, and grabbed his phone where it was sat beside him.
âHey Pratik, can I talk to you about something?â Harry asked suddenly, looking rather nervous; and Pratik blinked at him in surprise â glancing at his phone a little regretfully â before nodding. Harry caught the glance, however, and avoiding looking straight at his friend.
âIf you need to make that call, itâs okay; it...itâs not important.â Pratik watched his friend with a frown for a moment;Â before he nodded with a brief smile, and got to his feet, leaving their dorm.
Harry watched him go, before dropping onto his bed with a sigh.
âCoward.â Liam offered pleasantly; and Harry threw a pillow at him.
-
Pratik stood outside Kieran house, scanning the group of uniform-clad girls scattered over the lawn â as it was Valentines Day, most of the Dalton boysâ girlfriends had come to visit â in an attempt to find a familiar head of blonde hair. He tightly clutched his guitar in his left hand; and so when his phone started ringing, he was able to fish it out of his pocket without much fuss, and look down at the text heâd received.
He frowned at the short message.
Rlly need 2 talk 2 u.
Harry x
He was just preparing to text back, when a familiar voice called his name; and he looked up to smile nervously at the blonde girl walking towards him.
âHi Naomi.â He offered when she reached him; and the girl smiled briefly, forcing her hands into the pockets of the bright red coat she was wearing.
âSo where is he?â She asked, looking around at the Dalton boys stood near the entrance to Kieran house; several of them were still waiting for their girlfriends to turn up.
âDorm room.â He mumbled; and Naomi smiled slightly at him. She held out a hand; and Pratik looked at it for a moment, before tucking his phone away and taking it, smiling lightly when she laced her fingers with his.
âYou know Iâm totally going to owe you for this, right?â She asked softly; and Pratik smiled back at her.
âI was hoping youâd say that...â
-
Liam, who had moved to sit with Harry on the Japanese boyâs bed, glanced up when the door to their dorm room opened; and blinked when Pratik walked back in, pulling a pretty blonde girl after him.
âUh...Pratik?â He asked, confused; and the boy smiled nervously, before releasing the girl and pushing her forward.
She smiled nervously.
âHi.â She mumbled, and waved; a gesture Liam returned, while Harry was now engaging in a staring contest with his hands, clasped in his lap. She watched Harry with a slightly hurt frown, before she continued speaking.
âUm...Iâm Naomi.â She murmured; and Liam nodded at her with a smile.
âIâm Liam; this is Harry.â He gestured at the stoic boy â who glanced up, before looking back at him hands â before frowning briefly, and then turning back to Naomi.
Only to blink in surprise when he saw she was holding a red rose out to him. Her cheeks were flushed from embarrassment, and she was nervously playing with a strand of her hair; but the smile she offered him was sweet, and he grinned as he took the rose.
âHappy Valentines day.â She offered; and when Liam frowned at her, opening his mouth to respond, she launched into an explanation.
âWell, Pratik called me and said you didnât have a date for Valentines and, well, I though, âHey! I havenât eitherâ and so I drove down here, and now youâre going to tell me you do have a date and Iâve just made an idiot of myself, and-â Liam held up a hand, cutting her off with a grin.
âI was just going to ask if you wanted to go for a walk.â He offered; and she blinked, before grinning brightly.
âSure!â She chirped happily, nodding; and mouthed a âthank youâ at Pratik when she and Liam passed him, hands linked.
After the door had shut, Pratik hesitated for a moment, before sitting opposite Harry on his bed, and watching him carefully. When the Japanese boy didnât look up, he pulled his guitar into his lap.
The starting melody of âTell Me Whyâ filled the room, and Harry glanced up; before flinching, and looking back at his hands.
âNot important.â He murmured; and smiled briefly when Pratik picked out the chords for âBite My Tongueâ. The Indian boy watched his friend for a moment, longer, nervously fingering the petals of the rose heâd asked Naomi to bring him; before he held it towards Harry.
Harryâs eyes widened when he looked up and say it; and Pratik flushed.
âEvery February, youâll be my Valentine.â The Indian boy murmured; and Harry grinned, before accepting the rose, lifting it to his nose.
âYou spend too much time around Blaine.â He murmured softly; and Pratik smiled sheepishly, picking at a loose thread on his uniform slacks.
âHey.â Harry said softly; and when Pratik looked up, Harry pressed his lips lightly to his, smiling as Pratik responded, leaning forward.
When they broke apart, Pratik had shifted to sit beside Harry, and they linked hands, fingers threaded together.
âWhat did you want to talk to me about?â Pratik asked softly, watching Harry with quizzical eyes. The other boy blushed, looking away.
âI was going to ask if you wanted to go to dinner with me.â He murmured; and Pratik smiled, before lightly squeezing his hand.
âIâll do my best to make amends with you.â He offered; and Harry frowned.
âMake amends for what?â He asked softly; and Pratik flushed.
âTaking so long.â He whispered; and Harry frowned lightly, before leaning forward to press his foreheads to Pratikâs.
âIt takes two.â He murmured, a smile pulling up the corner of his lips; and Pratik grinned, before tilting his chin up to connect their lips.

THIS HAS BEEN A KAPASHIMA DRABBLE.
Still not happy; and I don't know why. Anyone have any theories as to why I am displeased with this drabbly-one-shot-thing?
...it may be the lack of Eric...hmmm *wanders off to think on this.*
