The underskirts for Black and White Mage lvl 90. The ankle-length Spaekona skirt comes with full tights, while the knee-length Theophany skirt has shorts.

Since I started this journey I started seeing… things.

Flickers in the distance.

A sort of deja reve.

Glimpses dressed in metaphor of a very literal reality.

And the higher I built my wall of skepticism, the more powerful that reality became.

The harder to ignore, dismiss, and reason away it became.

And I hated it.

I still do, in many ways.

It makes me feel crazy.

It makes me feel out of control.

It makes me feel like where I once had been wadding safely in the shallows, I’m now firmly in the grasp of a rip current.

But that’s only part of why I hated it.

Because not much I can do.

They happen and I can only watch.

And wonder, for the first time, if Knowledge is really worth the loss of an eye.

But recently, I realized that’s not quite true.

I can’t change what I see.

I can’t touch it, can’t wave it away.

Ignore it, it still happens.

Talk about it, rage, act, whatever. It still happens.

But here’s the thing.

I may have had it all backwards.

I may not be able to change my world.

But I can, I can change how I look at it.

Not long ago, I needed to make a change.

An escape, really.

And I wasn’t doing a very good job of it.

I kept fighting for it, and losing, against external forces.

And each battle made me all the more weary of the promise of the next.

And my voice was getting weaker and my eyelids, heavier.

But then, I saw a great shadow, a pointed hand.

I saw a Death, an ending.

And that gave me strength.

For the first time it gave me strength.

To do what needed doing. That blissful knowledge that this time, this fight, this battle, would be my last.

The promise of peace just over the horizon is quite the carrot, isn’t it?

Knowledge is a sword that cuts you when you wield it.

But it’s still a sword.

Yes, I definitely do!

Seiðr is very much a large framework within both my personal and spiritual/religious practices. Because of my devotion to it, I have thus collected a myriad of books and websites as resources to develop my own dogma on the subject and for reference. 

A lot of what we know about the practice is basically reconstruction from archaeology, historian research, Edda, many other primary allusions and today’s Heathens who have written collective-gnostic/ adherent works on seiðr-craft. 

This, along with various other constructs and rites that pertain to Norsk “sending” and trance work.
