I mean she had to do SPEED therapy for Steven in that moment, otherwise she’d LITERALLY DIE??? Like im Connie was worried about Steven too, as she exclaims that “Stevonnie has floating powers” indicating she didnt know its wasn’t exclusive to them. Even still tho, she knows Steven has magic, but she was a full HUMAN about to be flattened if she didnt help Steven move past what he was going through in the next minute or so.

Is Rose Quartz a good person who did bad things, or a bad person who did good things?

Comparing Quartz to Ice for example:

Quartz is the chemical compound SiO2 (Silicon Dioxide) “cooled” to its solid form.

Ice is the chemical compound H20 (Dyhydrogen Monoxide) cooled to ITS solid form.

The only TRUE difference between the two is that one has a melting point of 3,002°F (1650°C), and the other has a melting point of 32°F (0°C).

“But real life ice cant stay solid at the average temperatures of planet earth!”

Okay, and? Real life bismuth has a melting point of 520.5°F (271.4°C) AND a boiling point of 2,847°F (1,564°C). Meanwhile canon Bismuth was walking through lava, something that can naturally be up to 2,200°F (1204.4°C), like it was a warm shower. Did she look like she was near boiling?? Was she melting??? No. Because gems dont have the same “biology” as real minerals.

i know i talk about how im always working ok it, but when I say that, usually i mean either from an idea or design perspective, which is still true! Problem was, i was always working on these designs for characters, and scenarios for what would happen, but they had no complete story! I mean sure, i knew what story beats i wanted to hit, but i had so many ideas, with no way to string them together. But somehow today it just all,, CLICKED. Anyways it got me so excited, that i almost posted the plotline on tumblr —

i really just saw someone with the audacity reply to “now that im older i realise how bad rose quartz really is” with “she isnt bad”. op responded saying “yes she was” and then commenter replied “okay but everyone in the show was a bad person” AS IF THAT DISPUTES IT???
