SpaceX launch of Falcon 9 rocket photo by Ben Cooper
Are we there yet? Cool #spacex #art from arreoscape on deviantart.com. Today's launch is exactly what this country needs right now. Opening up space to commercial industry will spark some much needed economic growth right when we need it. Stream the pre-launch live on #YouTube (or wherever) to get on board with this historic stepping stone for the future of technology and our economy. (Not to mention getting us a step closer to becoming a multi-planetary species, thereby preventing our decimation from the next #covid19 type pandemic or whatever the hell else comes along to try its hand at removing our likeness from the world)
"YEET THAT BOY INTO SPACE! YEET IT!"
Me, referring to the SpaceX launch

You know what I love most about the Apollo program? I have NO IDEA what companies NASA contracted to get it done. None! I don’t know and I don’t care. Boeing? Northup-Grummond? Lucky and Marvin? Acme? Who gives a shit!
I wish we could go back to the days before companies became characters we’re expected to root for. I don’t give a shit about SpaceX; it is a soulless corporate conglomerate owned by a soulless corporate shill who would bring back apartheid if it’d earn him a few extra bucks. SpaceX the company didn’t do anything today, the engineers did. And for that matter, Elton Monk certainly didn’t do anything either. He doesn’t get to claim victory just because he owns the rocket that did it. The privatization and commercialization of spaceflight is a horrifying new frontier for unchecked capitalism.
A new frontier, but not the final one.
Oh no, it will get so much worse before it gets better.
Honestly I think Florida weather said no to the launch because it heard about Elon’s kids name :/
ITS LAUNCH DAY YALL WHY AINT THIS TRENDING
