he’s a dermatologist so i guess i get it? but it’s just so frustrating to have every single doctor tell me “i can treat you except for x, y, z symptoms which aren’t my problem.” he’s a great, wonderful doctor otherwise, the only doctor i’ve EVER seen that knew what both NF1 AND ehlers-danlos syndrome were right off the bat.
but yeah it’s looking like PCOS is likely now. i was actually diagnosed with it when i was sixteen via transvaginal ultrasound (third most painful medical procedure i’ve ever had done), then it was taken away in my early twenties because i wasn’t “fat or hairy enough”, and now they think i have it again. i really just think that doctors don’t know shit!!!! Â

Incredible. The issue older offices have changing systems is there is a monopoly on those in the medical field and it is costly and then you need someone trained and certified in coding and stuff which is more money than making your regular staff do simpler things. ITS HORRIBLE
yeah i had to ask myself if a paper system was worse than a digitial system riddled with infosec holes... and it’s not. even with my limited understanding of coding and infosec systems and stuff i know that getting a medical practice to go digitial is horrifically difficult, esp once you start getting into HIPPA laws and shit
