3D PRINTING
Blog 1: CONCEPT
When I first became interested in 3D printing as a part of my assignment, I was drawn in by the idea of making a 3D outfit. I've always been interested in fashion, so the idea of making a digital design come to reality was exciting. However, as I delved into the world of 3D printing through YouTube and Instagram, my excitement turned into anxiety.
The videos made it seem effortless, but the reality hit hard, especially for a beginner like me with no prior knowledge of 3D printing. There was a steep learning curve, and the complexities of the process proved to be more difficult than expected.
After spending a good three days scrolling through tutorials and feeling more confused than ever, I decided to take a step back. Maybe fashion was a bit ambitious for my first attempt. So, I settled on making a 3D object to jazz up my table, a cool showpiece.
And what did I choose? A space fighter! Inspired by the incredible "space gooose," who not only creates awesome spaceships but is also a software engineer. I was captivated by how this artist turned simple objects like triangles, lemons, spoons, etc, into cosmic wonders. Btw! He is one my favourite artist:)
Another random starfighter design I've had kicking in my head for a while.
