Part 3 (and final) of my OCs crossover comic, you can find parts 1 & 2 HERE. This chapter introduces Jukka, an effectively immortal transporter clone who was marooned in a pocket universe for 744 years, which drove them mad. They’re mostly alright now and with Blu, have become a successful criminal-for-hire.
So when I was making this, I thought, "Hey, I can just reuse a bunch of assets I’ve already drawn - it’ll be easy!" Umm, nope. I only reused Kes and Athena’s apartment building and Jukka’s voidship, the rest I had to draw from scratch, which is a lot of effort for a comic whose main audience is me.
Anyway, it’s good practice because this week I’m going to finish off my Kes and Athena comic Date Night, which has been in development hell for months. Hopefully that will find an audience because it’s queer as fuck.
