Voidship lore! And a couple of bonus sketches from elsewhere.
Daedalian manifolds sort through all dimensional spaces until they find one with physical laws that allow an 80,000 ton voidship to fly. Standing too close to a working manifold can cause universal bleed-over, where different versions of yourself manifest - it’s usually temporary but best not tarry too long.
Jukka: Hey do you wanna meet up and beat the shit out of each other like the old days?
Fleetscut: Fleetscut: Sure
Jukka and Blu are making questionable decisions in this blatant re-use of an old pic.

I commissioned Cana from the whn discord to draw Blu and Jukka from my comic (the background is by me.)
One day I’ll actually finish it.
Jukka and Blu’s date night, part 2.
A self-indulgent comic series in which I pay homage to the tv programs and films that help raise a lonely autistic child.
You know when Fry talks about that 1960s sci-fi show (you know the one - 79 episodes, about 30 good ones) he says that watching that show made him like he had friends, even though he had none at all.
I vibe so hard with that, even though it is as Leela said, touchingly pathetic.
I taped all these shows and watched them over and over until the tapes wore out. I would have rather watched a glitchy Man Trap for the 50th time then go play with other kids. Star Trek got me, ya know?
In saying that, I’ve never watched any of TNG, or any of the spin-offs or the nu-trek. Just doesn’t do anything for me. Same with modern Dr Who, although I will say Blink is one of the greatest dr who eps ever.

Lore drop for latecomers:
Earlier, Blu and Robot had rescued Jukka from the pocket universe in which they’d been trapped for 743 years. Now that their voidship (the imaginatively titled Sphinx) was working again, Jukka fulfilled his promise to take Blu on a date to remember. And just like they said, the Sphinx can go ANYWHERE.
Also, Jukka has an irrational vendetta against Dr Who. I mean, that guy is basically a god and all he/she does is goof around the universe with twinks, get second-tier characters killed and then be all weepy about it.
By which I’m talking about modern dr who (I’m not a fan). Old school dr who is such a vibe - dude got pissed off with the squares so he nicked a spaceship, kidnaps his granddaughter and some randos from earth then proceeds to get them nearly killed ALL THE TIME.
