So I was messing around in FireAlpaca...
and I discovered I could make some space like backgrounds just by messing around with the filter and blending effects. I used the sand filter and then messed with the hue, level, and extracting lines to my satisfaction.
Then on a second layer I dotted the screen a bit with a small stencil of Pen or Air brush with some space colors you see of stars and stuff. I used the blur effect to make them blend with the background. You can used the blur effect as many times as you see fit.
The 3rd layer I used a the bucket with the color of my choosing (a shade of blue for this one) and clicked the layer. I then repeated the first step above (except for the extracting lines) and selected for the blending effect on the layer to dodge.
On the 4th layer I repeated step 3 with a different color (a shade of purple) and this is the results of it:
Looks pretty spacey, doesn’t it?
Now there is another effect called cloud. On a 5th layer, I selected that with a color of my choosing (purpler again) and this is what it looked like:
Not very spacey, huh?
Well, messing with the hue and level again can fix that. I changed the blending effect on the layer to "Add" and then messed with the hue and this is what I got:
Buuuuut then I messed with the level effect and this happened:
Looks much more spacey, doesn’t it?
I messed with it again and got this too:
So anyway, I just wanted to share my discovery with all of ya. I hope this comes in handy to any of ya out there.
