ngl I was trying to doodle a thing and it just wasn’t coming to me 😭 the only things I’ve been able to doodle recently have been dnd related honestly but that’s besides the point

getting BACK on the point, I think it would start with Damien living in America and Gregory and Christophe being good friends of his who live in Europe. they go to visit him after a long time not seeing one another and Gregory suggests they catch up at the local pub or something only to discover that there ARE no pubs in America anymore. Damien would certainly know of some speakeasies tho and take them to one which would inspire them. I think it’d make sense for it to be a nice speakeasy that inspires them to open their own, but I think it’d be funnier if it was like. some dingy basement full of mold that Gregory is SO incensed by that he simply MUST show these Americans what a proper pub should be!! and Christophe (also appalled that stupid Americans outlawed alcohol) and Damien (excited for the chaos that comes with crime) would happily help him with that.

per your tags(^) also I think it would be funny if 1) Damien is the son of Satan and 2) only Gregory doesn’t know about it. he assumes Damien’s dad has some incredible vast private collection and Damien and Christophe are trying so hard not to laugh as they just go along with Gregory’s wild assumptions.

that being said, having a constant flow of alcohol plus high quality service would skyrocket their popularity and put a big ol target on their backs. im sure other speakeasies would always be trying to take them out so they’d have to stay together 24/7. and, ofc, sharing quarters and so many close calls combined with the prior affection they had for one another….. makes sense those lines between friends and lovers and partners in crime would all start blurring 😏

what is ur opinion on gregory/christophe/damien!! a trio with unlimited potential for chaos

BIG BIG FAN OF THIS!! I’ll admit, Damien/Gregory on its own i go back and forth and enjoying… the two of them just feel like they’d be rather snarky/passive aggressive with each other 😅 which would make for some very fun quips back and forth but maybe not the longest lasting relationship. They just both love being the center of attention so much and hate to share the spotlight, ya know? tbh i feel similarly about kygory within a gregstophlovski context too lol

BUT for gregstophien, i think Christophe acts as a wonderful mediator between Gregory and Damien bc Christophe has a solid “no bullshit” meter and he’s not afraid to call out either of them if they get too snippy with each other. And they love Christophe enough to listen and get along, despite their myriad of differences. Gregory in particular i think would struggle a bit due to his devotion to God and Christophe and Damien’s combined animosity towards God, but maybe they could sway him! Or maybe he’d just grow to accept that as part of who they are.

Outside of that, i think they’d all set the world on fire together! Maybe literally! Gregory obviously has big political ambitions (one of the core traits of his character), Christophe would do anything for Gregory, and Damien could be convinced he’s earning brownie points by helping to fight for human rights or just be happy to overturn systems and cause chaos. Brains, brawn, and literal fire power….. enemies would not stand a chance. Also if Damien as the son of Satan could somehow make it so Gregory and Christophe never die?? And they’re all immortal together?? I’d give it maybe 11 years before they’re running everything. It would’ve happened sooner but they took a year off for their honeymoon 🥰
