3. What is your absolute favorite kind of fic to write?As a one shot, I’m an absolute sucker for fluff. The sweeter, the better. For longer projects tho, I’ve found out that thriller and suspense are my jam. Just gotta love building up all the excitement and throwing those twists in there and hey where else can I fit all my evil pretty men, really.

12. A fix you wish you had written better, and why?Oh man, so many of my older wrestling things. Like, I was really fond of those storyline ideas in general, but the writing and the way everything is written is just so cringe worthy. So, those really. I’d say also Silence Kills just because but thats already in progress of being revisited so it doesnt count here anymore haa.

3. Which was the hardest to write, in terms of plot?This is actually a really good question. I could take the easy way out and say any of the trilogy things, but then again despite being long projects they have all been planned out entirely so thats not the case. Or, well, in case we are talking about stuff that I’ve finished already then yeah definitely Silence Kills, but other than that I wanna say the story with the magical misfit kids thats in progress cause I have the basic idea for the things but really no plot whatsoever so it makes it kinda hard to start with anything with it. But I’m still excited for it haaa.

10. Favorite line or lines of dialogue that you’ve written I’m gonna quote few gems from the thing I wrote yesterday yush.

“How straight do you want to hear it?”“Alex, don’t –““As straight as you can give it to me.”“Alright, fine.”“Alex –““I’m banging your brother.”

A personal favorite just because hes so fucking nonchalant about this whole thing in the whole piece and just goddammit Alex why.

Oooooookay lets see. I’m in general really bad at giving advice like this cause I dont know 95% time what I’m doing myself but lets see..

First of all, find a subject you wanna write about. It doesnt have to be something you are familiar with, as long as you are interested in it and are willing to go through the necessary researched needed for it, it will do. If you are going to write a novel, which, lets face it, will be an overall lengthy thing to do, you better have a topic that you are interested in writing about or else that just wont work with on the long run.

I’d also say plan ahead of at least the most important plotpoints you want to include, but thats a personal preference, really. You dont have to plan everything that happens, but just the most important parts. The rest comes in between these points as the story progresses, when you get to know your characters better and know what kind of direction exactly you want to take the story into.

Find inspiring music. Something that fits into the theme of your story. Powerful ballads, instrumental, happy songs... Always, ALWAYS play something that works for the current scenery and the emotion you want to bring through in the scene. Setting your mind into the right emotion with the matching music makes writing the scene so much easier.

I think the best advice honestly is to set yourself a deadline and commit into finishing your goal by that deadline. Its surprisingly motivating and holy damn it feels good to cross that line as the winner of that word race. as someone who has only won two NaNoWriMo’s out of like at least five or sixe I’ve participated in, I can tell validating your novel at the end of the November feels amazing

Thats what I can think from the top of my head that at least work for me. I know every artist is different but hey, its a start!
