A light and crisp Japanese turnip salad with a tangy sesame dressing. This salad is the perfect combination of crunchy vegetables and savory flavors, making it a delightful addition to any meal.
Ingredients: 2 Hinona Kabu Japanese turnips, thinly sliced. 1/2 cup radishes, thinly sliced. 1/2 cup cucumber, diced. 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped. 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped. 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds. For the dressing: 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Thinly slice the Hinona Kabu and put it in a large bowl with the radishes, cucumber, red onion, and fresh cilantro. To make the dressing, mix the honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in a separate small bowl. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss it around so that everything is covered. Add toasted sesame seeds on top to make it taste better and give it more crunch. Put the salad in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before you serve it.
